  1. Once Groot became a thing, Pre Hero Marvels became a virtual gold mine of untapped 1st appearances that were in less availability than Marvel Superhero keys. I like picking up NYC issues whenever I see one when I have some extra cash. I would like to eventually own the Mystery Tales book featured on LOST... but I refuse to pay the high prices for a book whose sole 'value' rests on a TV show that ended almost eight years ago.
  2. I checked out on Thursday once the comic section was done. 1 Book for me (The Tec 78) 4 Books for future offerings.
  3. Just won my second Eternal Warrior cover. Wrath of the Eternal Warrior #14 Artwork by Stephen Segovia
  4. According to a few reports I am reading form around this internet thing... It seems that by 2021, Adyen will be the on site processor. PayPal will be an option but an offsite processor. I am assuming here that by using paypal you would be using a payment that eBay would consider no more different than using cash or a personal check. What I am curious about however is what type of protection will be offered on the eBay end by using PayPal.
  5. The book was claimed. I had a similar situation a few years ago which I have mentioned. Claimed a book in the thread and someone bought a few books in the thread via PM which included that book. I didn't hem and haw. I trusted the seller at his word that someone claimed it in PM. No, there was no mention that private message would take precedence over a take it in the thread. I shrugged and said, "That's life." and moved on... because I took the seller at his word that someone claimed the book already. That is all... carry on.
  6. No... literally because the signature program is questionable. I have purchased books before from others and had them reslabbed.
  7. Which is why I did not pull the trigger. I felt that the assigned grade and recognized signature were dubious.
  8. Only CGC stuff. There was a book that was offered that I thought about picking up for future resale but it was signed in a non-cgc holder and I was skeptical so I did not pull the trigger.
  9. In all fairness I don't know a lot about this. However, I do know that in 1972, a crack commando unit was sent to prison by a military court for a crime they didn't commit. These men promptly escaped from a maximum security stockade to the Los Angeles underground. Today, still wanted by the government they survive as soldiers of fortune. If you have a problem, if no one else can help, and if you can find them....maybe you can hire The A-Team.
  10. I won a couple of things to flip for some free lunch money. Woo hoo.
  11. Isn't this what Acclaim did? They wanted the characters for other platforms which led us to Iron Man vs X-O Manowar, Shadowman, Turok and the forgotten Armorines video games? We saw how that ended... Well if it tanks it wouldn't kill me. It might make it easy again to buy a couple of high grade back issues and artwork.
  12. I do not believe that my past actions in situations like this would allow me to say that I would react 'nicely' in a situation like this.
  13. Step 1: Get passport from another nation that does not have an extradition treaty with the United States...
  14. Not really... I thought Force Awakens sucked.
