Oh, I should have clarified that. I actually own two 9.9's of a certain comic. However, I do not believe that buying the top graded copy of a modern book is always smart as there are many others out there that could potentially qualify to be assessed at the same grade. I believe that the risk in buying the "highest graded" copy decreases with the older the book.

Arrived today while I was sleeping albeit in another USPS crushed box. Thank goodness for plenty of bubble wrap. The piece added to the cover looks to be around the spine in order to reinforce the staple. I did not see anything noticeable anywhere else.

This is why I sometimes think it is safer to pick up 9.6 copies of certain books instead of 9.8 copies especially when their exists posabilities of 9.9's and even a 10.0.

I have to say that I was inspired by Comicdonna's original Action collection to start picking up this title. Here are my entries. I am hoping to pick up a couple more over the next few years. A lot of those books are simply fascinating to have in hand for me. It's almost surprising that Fox doesn't have the rights to the inhumans as at the time that Fox bought the film rights to FF, the inhumans were primarily associated with the FF unlike Black Panther who was introduced in the FF but became associated with the Avengers. The Black Panther example is sort of like how Kingpin became associated with Daredevil instead of being included in the deal with Sony along with the Spiderman rights.

How much more time on Elektra? I would guess that it would be about two years after the rights to Daredevil reverted to Marvel.

What did you win then? Was an underbidder on the Batman 20 but it ended $500 north of GPA and didn't feel like setting a new record. Which was a shame because I would have gone after an ASM 14. A couple of other things look interesting but, I may wait to see what is offered around the internet next month.
