  1. I tried, but cannot be silent anymore... Who is your daddy and what does he do?
  2. Ha! Did I buy them from you ? No,but I've gotten stuff from you and I'm friendly Really! Buy anything good? Hopefully you liked it and have given it a good home.
  3. People criticize but Hugh Jackman and to a slightly lesser degree Patrick Stewart and Ian McKellen were the ones that made X-Men a successful franchise. It's also nice to see that these movies are more than just a paycheck to Jackman as (at least from my viewpoint) he appreciates the character and what the role has provided him. Hugo Weaving and at one point, and still to a certain degree, Chris Evans 'poo pooed' comic book based movies. Jackman has embraced them, enjoying his part in them and recognizing the doors that 'Wolverine' opened.
  4. [font:Book Antiqua]You are supposed to be working in your recovery..![/font] Nothing but time when heating and icing the arm (which I am doing now) And I don't want to deviate at all from the surgeons' instructions lest I find myself facing the problem I was last week. Another two week evaluation next week to see if I am ready to go back to PT.
  5. Damn coiners encroaching on my comics general argument watching time... Get off my lawn
  6. Would Wolvie have to be in his cute yellow uniform? Better question: Would people consider Wolverine's first entering the plot of the movie to be in the first, second or third act?
  7. better than Candy Crush as it takes a real degree of strategy in determining matchups, who to prioritize in attacks and who to level up.
  8. I have a pressing question... Is the Walking Dead bubble about to burst?
  9. That escalated quickly. Two more spots open as I increased the alliance size to seven. 1 - Buzzetta 2 - DKCaldwell 3 - Dr. Zoidberg07 4 - Jmctattoo 5 - Thunsicker 6 - 7 -
  10. Finally have an Action Comics #41 It's a 5.0 Off White Old Label Thanks Fantasyland15
  11. Bought an Action Comics 41 from Don. He was easy to deal with and packed the book well for its transatlantic flight. I will definitely keep an eye on his sales threads in the future. Many thanks
  12. I'm addicted especially with all my new found time on my hands. ID - Buzzetta Alliance - "CGC Boardies" if you are looking for one (I set up an alliance today.) Think Candy Crush but with skill building and more of a reliance on skill than luck. As far as story mode it associates itself with the Dark Reign storyline.
  13. Thanks eBay bucks. Eternal Warrior hands X-O a 'savage' beat down. Looking forward to receiving it.
  14. Rarely post here but wanted to share some valiant stuff. Thanks eBay bucks. Eternal Warrior hands X-O a 'savage' beat down. Looking forward to receiving it.
  15. Faded... I have seen many a comic suffer that fate left in a storefront window.
  16. As a valiant fan I am geeking out. I posted this in the art forum but... I took home the Solar 11 Page from last week off eBay. I really wanted this page as it had a few things going for it. My favorite valiant character has always been Eternal Warrior. Pre Unity Valiant Art Page comes from the second appearance of the Eternal Warrior which storyline in Solar that introduces the character. There were a few problems from in the listing and the seller had the notes wrong on this piece as well. I had recently inquired about another page from this issue and was quoted a price of about $2000 because Ditko had his hand on the page. The auction listed the piece as being done by penciller David Lapham and inker Gonzalo Mayo. However, the piece was really done by Steve Ditko doing the breakdown pencils, Ted Halsted on finishing pencils and Gonzalo Mayo doing the inks. It may not be a silver age Spiderman page, but Ditko worked on the page containing one of the earliest appearances of my favorite Valiant character. All of this for 1/5th the price I was quoted. Yes I am pleased as this was always a valiant grail piece for me.
  17. I would assume that Elektra will be returning to Marvel within a year or two since an Elektra movie was made 'X' amount of years after Daredevil. Without Daredevil, is Elektra even feasible as a cinematic character?
  18. No time for love Dr Jones Picked up at the Carbo show Debated between this or a Trimpe page but I liked the way Villamonte drew Indy better. Almost bought something else but there is something coming up on auction that has my eye. Now all I need is a Star Wars, GI Joe, and a Transformers page and my 80's childhood comic reading is complete. I also liked the story that this page tells.
