  1. Red light district? Behave... He is Kraven! Have him battle live crabs. I am strongly considering sneaking out and heading to Randall's island for Phish at some point this week. If anyone wants to encourage this please send him to me in time for the weekend. However, even though I cannot set up a tailgate or cook, I will still be at Jimmy Buffett this year. Kraven should come to Margaritaville.

  3. Extra points if he is involved in some sort of action. He IS an action figure after all.
  4. - Put me on the wait list for this as well. I can bring him to the Brooklyn Bridge, if I get a chance I will take him to Liberty Island or I can take him out to a lighthouse or two on Long Island.
  5. An interesting question arose over on Hisstank: I will quote the OP's question over here to see what insight all of you may offer. I was going to link you all to the thread but apparently it was poofed. I was able to get the this information from google cache...
  6. Some Rolling Stones for you all to go to bed to... Sympathy for the Devil - Live 2006.
  7. Your music for the day... Rest easy and enjoy the day CG... enjoy the day... Eddie Vedder - Society
  8. I thought eBay stopped giving away free money, do tell? They gave me a $20 coupon a couple of weeks ago. I have not bought anything off the site and even though they had quadruple and 10% rewards while I had this coupon, I could not find anything that I wanted. I realized that I was thinking too big. So... I took the free BluRay... Maybe it was only a US offer? Or maybe it was simply a case by case basis. I know another boardie that got the coupon but he got it a couple of days ahead of me.
  9. Ha... I just picked up one of my favorite Disney movies of all time for free. I do not pick up many discs these days (I still have not bought a Marvel movie as much as I love the films) but I love the classic animation of these films and on top of that I love the commentaries and features that are included. Thanks eBay $20 coupon! I still had to make a paypal payment for $0.00 which was kind of cool.
  10. SW Rebels figures were partially debuted. They will also only feature five points of articulation. Sorry, here is an example.

  12. I have a feeling that as Hasbro continues to de-articulate the figures and put less and less tooling into the newer figures that some are going to be going back and hunting down some of the older stuff that they missed. I walked through Toys R Us the other day and the shelves were lined with figures like it was 1985 all over again. When I say 1985 I am not talking about because the figures were any good. I am talking about how all of the figures had five points of articulation. Great way to make a price point, dumb down the line and now you have nothing but a line that peg-warms.
  13. and Godzilla since it has made some serious money. Need to figure out how to track those box office results without distracting from the DC and Marvel thread. I would be interested to see how the Marvel and DC movies do against a Del Toro film in general. I mean take a look at his films and he is a comic powerhouse all on his own. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Guillermo_del_Toro#Film
  14. I caught this on HBO a couple of months ago and was pleasantly surprised. I honestly had low expectations as it basically seemed to me nothing more than what the poster showed, Robots v Godzillas. I thought the set design and the special effects were were done in that I believed that these robot things actually existed and walked amongst the cities. A sequel would be fun. I am not looking for Oscar material here, just for some fun.
  15. I still wonder if anyone has ever wandered into this thread to see there name requested to be blocked.
  16. You should see some of the emails CAL gets. I am going to post them on my website for the world to see. And don't forget eBay has a team of grunts that surfs many other forums, such as this one, VGA, Sports card sites, coin/currency sites, etc. eBay will deny this, but the word had gotten out. CAL who has his token share of eBay just so he can attend a shareholder meeting Let me know if you want submissions for letters. I have a couple of email gems from two people I saved from 2010 and 2011. I save them to get a laugh from every now and then.
  17. Next question... There is a lot of talk in regards to having a Spider-man universe centered movie without it's main protagonist of Spider-man. Do we "think" or "know" of any other Marvel Heroes that might be under Sony's banner? Keep in mind that most of these are 'C' and 'D' list characters at best. They all got their start in Amazing Spider-man. Black Cat (Confirmed as Sony's as initially they were going to use her) Cardiac Man Wolf Morbius Prowler Puma Rocket Racer Scarlet Spider Silver Sable If I have to pick who I think is most marketable for a movie, I would have to go with incorporating some type of monsters theme with Morbius and Man Wolf but I would think that a spinoff clone saga of Scarlet Spider could see the light of day. The obstacles would be trying not to confuse the general public about a guy that looks like Spider-man but isn't Spider-man. However... making Venom an anti-hero pursued by Silver Sable and company could be interesting. Sony could turn Venom into their own version of the Hulk.
  18. I have what I believe to be a really, really, really good question... Can Marvel plagiarize it's own story lines for their in house movies? Stay with me for a second. Fox has the rights to Silver Surfer and Galactus. Marvel wanted them back at one point and was willing to cede Daredevil to Fox in order to make that happen. Obviously they really wanted Galactus for a big even on Earth and have the Avengers, not the FF, battle 'Big Purple.' The Silver Surfer would have probably met up with the Guardians of the Galaxy at some point then made his way to Earth to battle Galactus along with the Avengers. Obviously that is speculation. That obviously did not happen. But how about this... "Nowhere" is present in Guardians of the Galaxy. That is a big Celestial head that they have as a base. Would Marvel be allowed to replay FF48 49 and 50 swapping in the Avengers for the FF and the Celestials for Galactus?
  19. I remember seeing a copy for sale on the forums and missing out. I liked the cover so much I found this copy on eBay a couple of months ago. It is the only Atlas non Superhero book I own.
  20. It really is the nicest presenting 1.8 I have ever seen of that or any book.
  21. Because "You can feel good; good, good about Hood."
