Hey, no we're not.

Most of my Omnibus collection.  I don't pay full price for any of them.  I research for the best prices.  The most recent was the WBN for $37.95.  Picked up the 1st Perez Wonder Woman Omnibus for my daughter for $50 at Jet City Con.

I started my own local only FB group which includes WA state, Portland and surrounding, and one of two members in ID.  There are almost 1,000 members and a lot of them are doing deals with each other through PMs and meeting up.  There are stores who are members, con sellers, and collectors.  One seller told me that his sale jumped greatly since he joined.  Just an idea.

I'm part of a couple Mego FB groups and there are quite a few people who can't get certain wave two figs.  I am still looking for a Spock.

Yeah, it's odd, there was supposed to be a "reset" on October 1st, with Wave 2 hitting. Instead, Wave 2 has trickled out to some stores, not made other stores at all, and like you said, the Mego's have been removed entirely from several locations. Anecdotally, sales on Wave 1 were slow...I mean, heck, they were mostly warming pegs in every store I went to. I hope Target doesn't pull the plug on the project altogether. 

A lot of people are not happy as not all Targets are getting everything.  Only 10,000 of each to go out to all the Targets and what has sold on line.

i have seen seen some of the wave 2 14" figures locally, but I ordered my set through the website.

Right now Target is having a toy sale, something like $10 off of $50, or $25 off of $100 (you may want to double check that). Add red card and free shipping for an even better deal.

I think the sculpts are already improving on the wave 2 figures. Wave 3 & 4 should be killer.

 

For some reason some Targets quit selling them to even pulling them from off of the shelves.
