What are you talking about? Jim I'm talking about a prominent member of these boards that did not follow through with a transaction drove me away from these very boards. I'm glad to see that someone is making an effort to "out" these people is all I'm saying whether they be Overstreet advisors or first time posters. It's the pompousness of people in any hobby that drives people away from it. Who is the prominent member? and what was the transaction involving?

Just picked this up. I sold all my golden age books twice now but I can't help but to start buying more and regret selling those one I did have.

Got this in today about what I expected. But not bad. This is that book from the zero feed back seller. He packaged the book poorly which resulted in the lower corner chip. Not sure if I should remove the extra staples they don't do any thing the book is completely solid.

As a reminder that I collect too many books I won this today on ebay. One of the harder VVSS limited to a 1000. Probably would've gone higher if the seller would've mention is was a VVSS in the title rather than a just a signed version. Or it didn't go high due to it being a Rai and the Future Force

This just came back from CGC. Odd thing I don't collect Golden Age stuff really any more. Sold as a 7.0 and came back as a 7.0

3 extra staples that the original owner supposably put in back in the 60's which I was aware of. I paid half of good 2.0 for the book. I know I can get my money back out of it. I am hoping it will open the door to communicating about the rest of the collection.

I just got in from a two day business trip and thought I would post a couple cheapies I found at a small LCS. The Superboy I just got in however cost a bit more, The rest $1.00 each. Nothing big just a little reminder during my quest to get the highest graded best copy of a certain book, that the hobby can be a fun experience with very little cash. These may not be worth much but, I found the last issue of Unexpected, two MJ inserts (the 2 WF newsstand issues), early mask appearance etc. Bought about 30 books total even found a Little Devil Featuring Hot Stuff #44. The World's Finest 303 has some weird color error title etc is really light not faded.

Something Bad must have happened to Jokerfish I was bidding against him on a couple eBay auctions and he won. I saw them relisted and was able to pick them up cheaper. Seller stated he never paid. I haven't seen him on the boards for quite a while now

Its Archie comics superheroes brought back from the Golden Age. its actually a key book for the series.

Nice stuff as usual Greggy Picked up my 1st VVSS typically don't go after these but with the price and the fact Shadowman has to be one of my favorite characters. Just cleaning up my Valiant runs a little bit more.
