  1. Great! I got two PM's about Chi now. One where he "screwed" someone over about some books and another where they had to threaten to out him on the boards to get their books
  2. If I would have heard something I would have waited longer. It only takes 2 minutes to email someone and say look I'm sorry there is a delay and I will send it out this time.
  3. Okay, I bought the BB 93 the Chi Bamm in the PGM thread. We worked out a deal which we were both happy with and we kept in constant contact via PMs up until the actual purchase which was on July 6th(I paid him via paypal). I have not seen or heard anything since. I checked his postings and they stopped July 11th. So I don't know what happened. Maybe he is in the hospital or in another country who knows. I tried PM ing him once since but it is unread. I have emailed him but nothing.
  4. You're right about this I am trying to get this person to respond without embarassment first. Maybe I still too much of a whimp. Should I just go ahead and mention who it is to warn others of potential problems?
  5. Nik I got those books and they are extremely nice.
  6. I sent the party an email this morning not a pm for the 3rd time in a week warning what will happen if he doesn't at least email me back. So we'll see. I don't need the book in hand by Fri just acknowledgement that it is/ will be sent asap. He hasn't posted on the boards for a month so we'll see.... Nice guy just needs to follow through after someone pays him.
  7. Ok I see what your talking about It did it now as well. I have a transaction That I paid for a July 6th with no book and no response to emails yet its about $100.00. I try to be nice on these boards but it hasn't gotten me anywhere so this may be my first "outing" if I don't hear anything by Friday.
  8. :bump:just trying to make it easier for me to find
  9. Haven't bought art in a while but I just picked up this original Brunner pencil sketch supposibly form the mid 70's out of a Dr Strange kit he produced. It was very cheap.
  10. Best time period generally speaking for DC.
  11. Next I got off ebay dirt cheap and I do mean cheap Higher grades with bad paper quality IMHO. will eventually upgrade as they don't meet my min. requirements for my Adams runs still very sweet copies. the 417 is the worst shape others have a nm appearance just off white cream pages
  12. Here is this weeks Adams Pickup that came in First are scans I was sent. Happy with the 237 it only has a small production crease by robin on the edge. This is a bad issue for production creases on the cover. Grainy look on the spines etc is from the scanner much cleaner whiter in person
  13. At what point is it OK to resell items if items are not paid for? I missed out on one purchase I wanted because of waiting on payment and now I have an opportunity for another item and need the funds. Would a week with no responses to pms be Ok if you know the other party read them?
  14. A few books came in for me this week. Have a few more out standing books.
  15. It's nice to see faces of people you start dealing with. I started buying a couple books from Robert Beerbohm. He's a great guy to work with and knows his books. It know this is a bit OT. The museum is fanastic looking maybe one day If my Wife and I go on a trip.
  16. Fantastic!! I love it. Out of curiousity do you know how huch it cost per panel? I would love to have a panel done for my comic room.
  17. A HUGE THANKS TO FOOLKILLER!!! I got the Superman 53 today along with the Batman. Superman is better in person. Can't believe I got the package already.
  18. Kudos to Greggy for a Beautiful WWT 16. very well packed and he kept up on the status of the book. Thanks again.

  20. KUDOS to NoChips for some nice Jonah digests cheap well packed and shipped quickly. Another Kudos for a beautiful copy of Lois Lane 122. Talk about quick the thread just dropped the front page and I already have it. Extremely well packed to boot.
  21. Nice book at least yours is slabbed I'm too lazy
  22. I got them back when I used to deal in Antiques, before Ebay. From an old library collection which is why they are still so white. Maybe I should have sold you my Civil War sword and Civil War era US Navy Knife.
  23. Those are real Civil War period newspapers. One discusses the Emancipation Proclamation (spelling) by Linlcon and the other has several famous battles. They are interesting to read definitely not politically correct on discriptions of Native Americans and Africian Americians. I always loved Australia and I found the boomerangs at a local yard sale and thought they would add a little color to the room.
