  1. And Kirby was actually able to draw someone with a left and a right hand That was in issue #3, no? I don't see it in issue #4? Yep, therefore the reason behind my comment Nice FF #4!! I have my FF #3 UK variant at CGC. It should be back soon!! Do you have a guess as to the grade? It would be nice to see. I am thinking that after I get my last two issues I may start going after the UK editions. Harder to find yet cheaper.
  2. This just arrived in the mail a UK edition of FF 4. Believe it or not its the highest census copy. Of course there have only been two cgc'd. Got it for the price of a CGC 3.5 U.S. copy. The white are scuffs inside the inner well of the slab.
  3. Just got this in the mail its the slash page for #2 page 13 of the Bloodstone Mini. This splash was also used for the cover of issue 4. So I now have the cover art for issues 2 and 4.
  4. I'm glad it arrived safe and sound and that you like the book. I wanted to make sure you got what you paid for thus the packing job.
  5. A BIG Kudos to DARTHDIESEL for buying the HULK 181 off me. Let me know when you get.
  6. Bought this piece a few weeks ago. A nice Sexy Bloodstone cover . #2 from the mini. I actually loved that series. I also enjoyed the 70's Bloodstone as well. Sadly issue #1 and #3 covers sold too quick for me to get them. I did track down the art for #4's cover which has yet to arrive. BLOODSTONE COVER
  7. The other reason I didn't bid is excatly the say question you are asking it didn't add up to me Art is suppose to be from one person but is signed by someone else who I believe wasn't the inker either. I may be wrong.
  8. You got that peice? I was going to bid on it but I asked for a larger scan of it. It seems odd to me to have a two page spread on one art page with no borders and word balloons. I asked the seller about it and if it had a Marvel copyright stamp on the back but he told me he didn't have time to look at it and answer my questions. So I didn't bid. I am missing that particular issue so I could not compare the line work with the book to see if it was the real deal. or a shadowboxed commission piece. What can you say about the piece I am curious.
  9. Its been a pretty good week for me I was able to sell enough stuff for the CA art and now these two pieces. a fun corny Ghost rider page from the 70's Gallery and a 70's Warlock page from issue 6 with Reed Richards turning into the Brute and 2 panels of Warlock himself. Gallery
  10. Perhaps we can have a permanent any interest thread then just post a generalization of what you have with the effort or work.
  11. I understand the concept of not posting a thread without prices to see what you get. But here is the dumb question of the day. Say you have a few hundred to a thousand books large lots of a single series say Excaliber the first run. But you don't want to go through the trouble of listing all the details if no one wants to buy them. I'm not talking expensive books here but rather 1.00-3.00 book in large bulk sums. Is it against the rules to say I have a collection of "title" before I list is there any interest. Then in the listing give each collection. The reason I am asking is I have a large number of collection from the 80's-early 90's which isn't worth much that I want to sell in lots yet I I don't want to go through and count and dig through every book and list it. Example of what I am asking is it wrong to post. Any interested in these collections Bulk lots approx 1.00-2.00 per book Excaliber 1-about 100 Solo Avenger/spotlight complete. X-Factor 1-approx 120 etc... etc.. Then if anyone says yes then post actual numbers and price of collection as long as the price stays within those est prices.
  12. I would like to send another round of thanks to everyone who has bought off me and here are some new individuas I would like thank. UK Avenger HUSH Comcasthawk sd2416 I just paid for the piece of art that I have been trying to save money to buy. It is my first Captain America piece. A Beautiful splash page by Steve Epting. 13. I haven't bought a page in a while But I found this nice Infantino Nova #25 page featuring Nova, Comet, one panel Sphinx and Skrulls battling it out. surpised that there isn't much white out with all the line work.
  14. I've got a few people to thank for purchasing books off me First Dad&Son Second REHfan (Very nice when I realized I still had one of books and I sent it a couple days later than the first box of books) Third Comicseekers There are times it seems like I can't seem to sell anything and its always nice when people take a chance and buy stuff from me These are 3 super nice guys. I would like to make a special thanks to jmg3637 he traded some bronze Submariners which I still am enjoying reading, fantastic stuff. A very kind and generous man I hope he enjoys the books he recieved and I hope he recieved the second box. This was one of those deals where I think he was overly generous and I hope to repay him in the future.
  15. Do you happen to kow how many 232's are on the census?Never mind found it 27 of them
  16. Yeah I'm looking for a possible flip with these two books, But I am more than willing to keep them in my FF collection. I hope yours sells well because I may have to do a follow up auction. Going to wait until after yours sells so not to "flood" the market if I do sell.
  17. Here's is my first step back into Golden Age collecting. I sold all my Golden Age stuff a while back. I got this kinda cheap. Little worst than I thought it would be Was suppose to be everything is secure copy, which it is except the cover . Still very presentible in person. Was thinking about flipping it now Its a keeper. Love those old covers. Fell in love with the golden age again.
  18. A long overdue Kudos to JeffB. He was kind enough to buy two lots of Mad Magazines just before Christmas. It good to know they went to someone who will truely enjoy them. Thanks again. Brian
  19. Just won them tonight kinda surprised no one bid I fugure I at least a few reader copies of some minor keys, Like the sub-mariner 35, Marvel Premiere 15 and a couple of others. 20. I was joking the SW 1 is a reprint 30cent cover and the others were actually #7, 3 copies of 8 and so forth I was trying to make you think I found the mother load with the number 2-4 copies but sadly it didn't work my jokes a pretty lame at times.
  21. With shipping $39.00. A really nice find. I just emailed the seller to see if he has any more.
