  1. There are some great Harry Lucey splashes in that book. I liked his Hangman as much as Fuji's Hangman.
  2. Great stuff! Who were these books geared towards? Junior horndogs, or girls?
  3. G/VG with off white or better pages and I'd choose the Detectives. Otherwise the Caps.
  4. I guess that if I had to sit and stare at a comic book cover all day long, that 31 would be a good choice, though.
  5. The wonder has a dust shadow and both books sold for ridiculous money in my opinion. I'd pass on both.
  6. Detective 31, I can't stand trimming, especially when it's poorly done and obvious.
  7. I'd go for the silver streak. I think it's only normal to try and clean out ones restored books if they are thinning out a collection.
  8. I'd have to agree on that. Maybe we should just play this game with an undetermined price or priced at guide.
  9. Flash. Like the cover and want a SanFrancisco pedigree.
  10. Detective 1. I've seen that star stamp in the upper right corner before, but can't remember where. Does it mean anything to anyone?
  11. Is there slab damage on the upper right of the suspense?
  12. Anybody going after this? http://cgi.ebay.com/CAPTAIN-AMERICA-COMI...tem220039654265
  13. Action 1. I bet with a soft eraser and some diluted bleach I could make that book look a lot better, too.
  14. Suspense. My choices are based mostly on which books I like the best inside and out.
  15. I think a lot of it has to do with who he is and that he has a lot of great books up at the same time so they attract more bidders. If you were to just put that one book up by itself it may not do as well. IMHO
  16. Thank's, it's threads like this that make these boards. Oh, congrats on completeing your run!
  17. I agree! Great thread! This is what the joy of collecting comic books is all about.
