While I don't doubt you, how do derive this information? I sold one of them for a price that crushed the GPA-recorded high, and learned from the dealer to whom I consigned it that several other sales had done so, too. I think the same thing is going on with Hulk 1. From what I can ascertain, many dealers are no longer reporting to GPA, on anything. Can't say I blame them. If they report, that just sets the bar higher for them to purchase. These are crazy times ! What dealers used to report to GPA that no longer do? Do you have any evidence of this at all? Thanks

Norm Saunders what a genius He did #3 and 4 so you'd think, right? Anyways, i was just on the Norm Saunders site (put up by his son) and there's a comic books index and the #8 isn't there. I guess his son would know. Norman Saunders I have that book, it's mostly pulp covers and a few comics. Another favorite of mine by him (I'm assuming) is G.I. Joe #35

Nice buy. That an extremely tough issue to find and impossible in better than mid-grade. Correct. Sold a copy, tried to replace it - took me ages before one became available. There was one on eBay for ages - maybe yours? When I finally decided to snag it someone had just bought it

$1725 according to Brian. Another strong finish for another eBay copy tonight. It's official: this book could potentially bypass(gulp) GCE12 as romance book #1 ?!?! On the topic of MRA 50, just checked GPA and a 3.5 copy sold for $315 in Oct 2012. So if that eBay copy was truly VF, $1800 to $2000 is about right, based on the one data point. So I don't think this is evidence of the book "taking off", just surprising for those who might not have been aware that people are standing in line for that book.

Been watching this thread for a long time and was wondering when people were going to start spilling the secret cool books MRA 49 is another very neat one, which I personally prefer over 50 (which obviously has the crossover horror appeal).
