Hey guys, just wanted to give everyone a heads up about this particular book. A friend of mine found it in part of a coverless collection he bought, and initially approached me about helping him sell it. I discovered that beyond the cover being gone, the centerfold is married (and loose), there's an ad page cut out, and the book has a number of pages that doesn't make sense (too many when you count the CF and the missing cover). I'm not an expert with this title by any means, so I told the owner that there was something definitely off with it, and it needed to be sent to CGC just to figure out what he had. He agreed initially, but apparently one of the local comic shop owners convinced him to consign it through his ebay account. All of the problems with the book have not been disclosed in the listing. I figured I'd get the info out there the best way I know how, to a group of people that will definitely have interested parties present. For some reason, I've never been able to find a decent looking copy of this one. Was pleasantly surprised how low the auction ended.

I absolutely love how insane the lion looks on this cover. Really sharp book Jay.

Also, holy amped scan Batman. That's the most electric blue label I've sever seen.

Even though we see constant reminders of the difference between existence and availability, it never seems to sink in for most folks. Almost nothing is truly scarce, it's just not for sale at current market value. If value changes enough, copies will become available.

I never seem to catch this one in time to buy it. Beautiful book, congrats on the sale.
