    The lists overlap a lot, but I have “all the Archie Goodwin edited Warrens” on my list just as much as “all the Frazetta Warrens”. You'll note that list carefully avoids Eerie #1…

    That's the version I have. I'm starting to wonder if Sulipa is wrong about it being the rarer variant; if he got a batch from the Warren warehouse he could have a skewed view. Beautiful copy, by the way!

    I’ve said it before, but I really think Frontline Combat was EC’s most consistently excellent title. 60 stories and not a single stinker in the lot.

    19 is by no means rare, but it's probably the scarcest issue of the title from what I've seen.

    Batman #429, featured on one of the second wave cards, has a cover date of January 1989, I'm guessing that's where the date came from.

    These miniature Peter Wheat issues are insanely rare. At least nine exist, but I've only ever seen 3 come up for sale in over 10 years of looking; and I've only gotten two of them.

    I really do need to track down the rest of the Frazetta issues of MAD, I think there's only this one, 106, and 338; plus he supposedly colored the calendar in Follies #2. I have 338 and the Follies.

    I think it's print degradation, but the purple sky effect it generates looks incredible.
