Out this week, as the "C" cover this one might be a little trickier to track down, even if it's not a ratio variant:

Bugs Bunny / Looney Tunes first appearances help
OtherEric replied to CAHokie's topic in Golden Age Comic Books
I love the expressions. Daffy looks terrified, Tweety looks worried, Bugs has his "exaggerated boredom just prior to casually getting out of the mess" look. -
Once I finish off the Frazetta covers for Warren I think the Bode covers are my next project...
-
The lists overlap a lot, but I have “all the Archie Goodwin edited Warrens” on my list just as much as “all the Frazetta Warrens”. You'll note that list carefully avoids Eerie #1…
-
The thing I love about this picture... no slabs. You can read the books. And EC's are meant to be read.

That's the version I have. I'm starting to wonder if Sulipa is wrong about it being the rarer variant; if he got a batch from the Warren warehouse he could have a skewed view. Beautiful copy, by the way!
-
I’ve said it before, but I really think Frontline Combat was EC’s most consistently excellent title. 60 stories and not a single stinker in the lot.
-
And arguably Piracy, although I personally put it with the New Direction. And did we get Frontline Combat yet?
-
19 is by no means rare, but it's probably the scarcest issue of the title from what I've seen.

Trading card sheets for DC Comics 3-packs
OtherEric replied to Cpt Kirk's topic in Copper Age Comic Books
Batman #429, featured on one of the second wave cards, has a cover date of January 1989, I'm guessing that's where the date came from. -

What are the Scarcest Comic Books of the 1950s?
OtherEric replied to bronze johnny's topic in Golden Age Comic Books
These miniature Peter Wheat issues are insanely rare. At least nine exist, but I've only ever seen 3 come up for sale in over 10 years of looking; and I've only gotten two of them. -

I think the Wizard & Glass by King was “limited “ to 40,000 copies… which isn’t limited at all unless you’re Stephen King -

Where are the Mad Magazine collectors?
OtherEric replied to Doohickamabob's topic in Comic Magazines
I really do need to track down the rest of the Frazetta issues of MAD, I think there's only this one, 106, and 338; plus he supposedly colored the calendar in Follies #2. I have 338 and the Follies. -
I think it's print degradation, but the purple sky effect it generates looks incredible.
-
What are the others? Impact #1 and some variations on the collected edition "Picture Stories from the Bible" are the only other ones I know of...

I can't remember, did we determine all the GFC's were Orange, or was there a mix?
