  1. I'm wondering why there are no pics? Here you go, Doc...
  2. I won the Strange Tales #4 and 16. I picked up a couple of books in C4less's auctions, although I would've liked far more. Suffice to say they won't be for resale. (TTA 3 and JIM 45, in case you were wondering).
  3. You sure you didn't "moon every girl" and run? That seems more your style.
  4. Chamber Of Chills 20 and 23 are up there with 19, although 19 is obviously more subtle.
  5. A Mister Mystery 6 (tough book, rarely up for sale) in 4.0 just closed for strong money - nearly $1100, considerably above GPA. Looks like there is new blood after the icon books - both bidders had low FB...
  6. I made that point a couple of pages back. Last night's Menace 5 that ended at $721 looks to be around 3.5. Tonight's copy which went just north of $1K does indeed look to be around 5.0. Nice eye appeal on tonight's copy. One more copy coming down the pike, a slabbed 3.5, courtesy of comics4less. Probably will go for a similar amount to yesterday's copy. Edit - four copies. There's a 2.0 currently on eBay as well.
  7. Speaking of Menace 5s, there's been a fair few of them listed on the Bay recently... Needless to say, you're right - there's been such increased demand for classic Everett (and others) covers fostered by the internet.
  8. A lot of PCH is tough to find in 6.0, so I usually aim for that grade, although I prefer 8.0 and above if possible (and if it's affordable). I don't usually go for books below 4.5 unless they're genuinely scarce.
  9. That's one you just dont see every day. In any grade.
  10. True, there are 66 CGC Universal in 9.8 alone, 367 in 9.4 or above. Those are big time numbers for a SA book. I'm pretty sure that was one of the Mile High II books. Over time, Chuck sold off 100s (it wouldn't surprise me if it was more than 1,000) high-grade copies of that book. So if you had to buy one. 132 or 133? 1st brief appearance or first cover & full? #132. They're both great books, btw. Lee and Kirby produced some great work with this title, as you no doubt know.
  11. Thor 132 is a warehouse find. It'll take a great deal of buying to corner the market with that book.
  12. Regardless of how it's used or misused, it's still Overstreet.
  13. He certainly doesn't get the recognition he deserves. And to an extent, I agree.
  14. Great copy of a book which is still a little underrated.
