I was looking for these a while back, you guys have inspired me to start looking again. If you know of any other versions, please post - Thanks!

That Ringo Kid 12 is a gem!

Nice stuff! What is in the plastic?
Thanks....those are Marvel Masterworks. The first original 27, and then the limited run through #117 (I'm a little behind). I keep those in their shrink wrap and read the black/silver editions.

Very cool room! And I love the bravery of putting out the big dollar books...I wish I could do that.
-
Not a room, but here's the view when you walk in the front door. Lots and lots of Marvel Masterworks:

Kudos to gman for the sweet Bowen Thor Statue! Price was right, shipping was secure and fast - Thanks!

103 is a tough book for some reason. It took me a while to find one. Up until last year or so, there were only 3-4 9.4+ copies.
Current census 9.4+:
102 - 30 copies
103 - 8 copies
104 - 18 copies
-
Just got this back from being graded. Can't remember where I picked it up. Probably WonderCon or a LCS in the 1990s:

Been looking for a FF 31, finally got one....
-
If FF 48 was saved by dealers/collectors and was not a warehouse find, how do you explain FF 59 (75 copies) and FF 44 (52 Copies)? Both of these books are non-key.

Umm...Greggy's #49 9.6 sold for around 3 thousand, and is on Comiclink for 4500 right now. How high does it have to get?
I'm sure there are/were many people just like me who had two high grade copies of 48 and no 49 or 50.
I'm positive the ratio of 49s to 48s will stay about the same.
-
Whoops, I guess I should of completed my run before posting this. Oh well.
-
Its pure, out and out discrimination.
If you want to see discrimination, check this out:
Fantastic Four 1 in 9.4 = 40,000 points
Fantastic Four 1 in 9.6 = 70,000 points
Amazing Fantasy 15 in 9.4 = 75,000 points
Amazing Fantasy 15 in 9.6 = 135,000 points
Amazing Spider-Man 1 in 9.4 = 92,000 points
Amazing Spider-Man 1 in 9.6 = 160,000 points
BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO SPIDER-MAN BIAS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
-
Spider-Man Bias?
June 1966
FF 51: 4 copies 9.4 or higher, 9.4 = 450 points in CGC registry.
ASM 37: 12 copies in 9.4 or higher; 9.4 = 700 points in CGC registry.
GPA Average:
ASM 37 9.4 = $831 (3 copies)
FF 51 9.4 = (no sales, but you'd have to think it would be at least $831)
Actually, I could care less about registry points, I just think it is funny.
-
At first, you would think that the scarcity of issues in the low 100s is because of low submittal rate, but 24 copies of 108 raises an eyebrow.
