  1. Greetings, I own a couple of the BCW comic bins and have positive and negative feedback. Positives, they are extremely sturdy, easy to put together and aesthetically appealing. I only have a couple so do not know how high they stack, but another positive, is they 'locked' together when you stack them. Negative, as they are so sturdy, when you fill them with slabs, damn they're heavy - so if you have a lot of slabs that you like looking through them, moving the comic bins may be an issue. Overall, I like them, and as I do not own that many slabs, they are perfect for me. Hope that helps.
  2. The thought of moving long boxes now give my back a twinge. I went initially for the comic box drawers, but did not find then sturdy enough filling with a mix of silver to modern. so moved over to filing cabinets - and they are the way forward for me. However, I need to decorate my room and the thought of moving the filing cabinets, my back is saying "CALL IN THE MOVERS!"
  3. Only 7 years!!!! Annual progress reports required.
  4. I doodle when bored.... Anyone recognise the actress?
  5. With all that comic book goodness, I think you will need an ocean liner
  6. Looking really cool. What is the statue in the bottom left corner?
  7. 16,300 books - focus. . . Well, it was meant to be just all mutant books, but that did not last. I stop my pull list several years ago, as being a completist, I could not keep up with all the variants - it was getting too expensive. I am happy with my collection but my focus now jumps around, for example, one week I want to complete my Daredevil volume 1 run from the first Frank Miller, then the next I want to complete my Peter Parker Spider-man. I know what you are thinking - they are not mutants. . . I know I veered of course. So in conclusion, my focus, is to remain unfocused.
  8. Sad truth with our society today.... People want to be paid, but do not want to work for it.
  9. All the books are raw, I have the plastic comic bins for my few slabs. I actually need another cabinet for my over flow, but at the moment out of room Cost, I found a supplier that sold the cabinets for £150 each and the drawer weight capacity is fine for the books.
  10. @Kevin.J Borrowed your idea. I need to empty the room, paint it, re-carpet, then display my statues etc. Once complete, I will take more pictures, it will take some time Oh, there are another 4 cabinets, so 10 in all
  11. Hi Kev, Still around collecting those funny books, though given up on new titles as my OCD and being completist could not keep up with those darn variants. Which has meant more funds to look backward, so working on my bronze age book. You well?
  12. One word - LIFE. Between work and family, time to myself has been slim but still collecting those funny books - though no more new books as the multiple variants was starting to get my OCD and wallet mad. Now given myself access again at work so can access the boards easier. I hope you and yours are well.
  13. Just awesome - well done on completing the set - it's pretty.
  14. Now, Now Kev, There will not be any quiet days, now you know about the auctions
  15. Dave, How's it going? Have you finished your Creepy run? I NEED TO KNOW
  16. Another lithograph (acetate) finally framed and about to be mounted (Just realised how terrible the picture is, so will retake)
