  5. The first issue was a very hard read for me to get through. Especially with all the similarities to the Colorado shooting a few months ago. I'm glad to have read that review because I was a little confused to what was happening. I'm not sure if this book is my cup of tea. And just for the record, I have a hard time watching Dexter too. I have a weak stomach to human killing. It makes me squeamish.
  6. Chew has the tv show Dexter crossed with a mob show feel to it. Great reads and great entertainment. Revival has the tv show X-Files crossed with Dawson Creek feel to it and has just started to come unto its own. It's hard to compare the series as it's like apple to oranges. But I feel Revival will not only do well on NBC but continue to pull in new readers as the story line develops. Just my
  7. There is something to be said about a 2nd printing on #4. We are not the only ones driving this series. I'm hoping the fan base is really growing because that's where the 'staying power' will be. But, on to the pre-order screen! Ryan Another note: I'm behind on my submission on this title. I need a #1 (4th), #2 (2nd and 3rd), #3 (2nd), and #4 (1st and 2nd) graded now (6 books). Might throw these out for the L O N G track submission. See you next year books... I will definitely be needing a Revival #1 4th print CGC 9.8 for my collection.
  8. Apparently Black Panther #23 is hitting the $15+ arena pretty solidly. So it was a book that came under the radar and may be something people are unaware. Hawkeye #1 and #2 are still going for $15+ too. I haven't read the storyline but maybe his character is more relevant since the Avengers movie and a good story is making people take notice? A copy of Cursed Pirate Girl #1 has gotten up to $52 and bare mentioning because I almost thought interest for the series was dead. But maybe not in the aftermarket? And the big winner pooping all over the Lyria - Modern Comics Heating Up market website is still Thief of Thieves #1. This book has been about as huge as Walking Dead #1 and I might have to start filtering it out soon.
  9. You don't happen to have a issue 2 1st print you'd be willing to swap for one with a "custom" imprint? Assuming I knew what a 'custom' imprint was I might have one... Puppy Punctures I'll see if I have some copies to spare. (thumbs u

  11. I can happily say that I have all the covers CGC 9.8 except the Black and White cover. And at least I have two or three of those in raw condition that might grade high if the book continues to take off. Otherwise I've been enjoying the series too much to let them go on the cheap.
  12. To anyone that finds it interesting I saw one kid who dressed up as a turtle this year and his Halloween outfit was pretty damn cool. Last year I saw four kids all dressed up as all the different ninja turtles. Why do I mention this? Because I had always assume that the turtles was something only we (children from the late 80's and early 90's) cared about. Turns out that there is an all new generation of die hard fans.
  13. Actually I need to get a subscription. I keep buying issues of the web instead of just getting a subscription. Enjoying it so far but it does seem to have a lot of plots developing at the same time.

  16. I saw Jenny and spoke to her about some covers . She had cover to 3 & I believe issue 4. There was also a colored version that was 350-400. I grabbed her contact info if anyone is interested in original art. And let me tell you, she's a hottie ! Isnt she though. What a beautiful young woman. Very articulate and she loves comics. Good lord some guys is gonna get really lucky when he locks her up. College degree and then went to Kubert school. Heck I didnt know she did covers for Hack Slash as well. Seeley gave her the first break on Hack Slash. Some jock who's into Football will probably win her heart and not appreciate her nerdness!
