  1. Gotham Girl #3 in VF/NM with three #HarleyQuinn's on the cover @ $15 Amazing #Spiderman #361 2nd print sells for $41 & 11 bids. Superman Adventures #5 1st Livewire. This plus Action Comics #835 = $52 & 25 bids. Moon Knight #1-3 gets $13. Great series so far.
  2. Stuff that seems to have the market's attention at the moment: Forever Evil #1 3D @ $66 & 17 bids. Dective Comics #27 1:100 Variant @ $61 & 22 bids. Saga Mexican Edition Variant #1 @ $23 & 9 bids. And a buzz that's been generating for Letter #44 Leter 44 #1 9.8 @ $55 & 13 bids. More examples of this on the lyria homepage really.
  3. Jimmy Olsen #134 CGC 8.5 @ $217 & 50 watchers. Darkseid in hot.
  4. TMNT #1 3rd print in VF are surprisingly hot this week. I see two on the Lyria website, one with 44 watchers and the other with 36. Questionable CA book, Y: The Last Man #1 in VF/NM @ $71 & 32 watchers.
  5. Well short answer is yes but the long answer is how much?
  6. Crow #1 9.6 @ $229 & 37 bids. Evil Ernie #1 9.8 @ $510 & 12 bids. Caliber Crow #1 9.6 @ $107 & 42 bids. Amazing Spider-Man #301 9.8 @ $611 & 25 bids!
  7. To answer my own question: The new Moon Knight series has been extremely interesting. I have enjoyed the first two issues and the second issue was certainly visually interesting and artist. Love the placement of panels (or lack there of). Not sure if that has anything to do with his hot 1st app. though.
  8. This must be what the Hulk #181 crowd feels like when they see yet another Hulk #181. To me this was a cheap and easily obtainable book in the 90's and 00's. I enjoyed it for what it was at the time it originally was released but have past up countless issues in dollar bins in the past because it was lackluster. Don't get me wrong, I own a CGC 9.8 but seeing a pile of copies just doesn't do it for me. Anyone else feel that way?
  9. Wolverine #145 foil cover @ $30 & 4 bids. Saga #2 hits $32 & 22 bids Sin Titulo pb @ $20 & 5 bids. Not even sure about what this is but apparently it's not the only Paul Pope book that's hot.
  10. Werewolf By Night #32 is on fire @ $260 & 60 watchers. What's happening? Was the new comic that good?
  11. If people only opened the comics and actually read what they were buying... #362, people! #362 is the one you want! Even #360 is significantly better than #359. The "appearance" in #359 is almost as bad as Doomsday's fist or Venom's hand. Seriously, one panel of a guy in silhouette? Hey, at least he has a thought balloon! p.s. How exactly can he hear what they are saying inside an airplane flying overhead? Even Daredevil couldn't pull that one off. How do we even know that's Crossbones...could be the Black Panther on a morning walk just commenting on what he saw. I think the market has determined that 360 is the Crossbones book to have, but I agree that 362 and even 363 are the ones I prefer in terms of content.
  12. Captain America #359 NM- @ $22 & 5 bids. Cry for Dawn #1 @ $25 & 2 bids although I'm sure a thread here had nothing to do with it. Thor #337 NM- @ $31 & 11 bids. Turtlemania #1 @ $46 & 9 bids. DC Comics Presents #26 @ $78 & 18 bids. New Teen Titans #2 @ $93 & 10 bids.
  13. The bidders have bid activity with the seller at 22% & 99%. Seems like a scam. You guys are worried about an Alf 1 that went for $12 being a scam?? Maybe you guys need another hobby? Yeah, 99% bidding activity with the seller smells funny to me but hey, it's your $12 so feel free to buy them at that price all day long. Especially since other copies of this elusive book have sold for less than $2.
  14. I had a toy Freddy Kruger glove when I was a kid in the 80's. No one said anything about that back then. And when I was a kid back in the early 60s (yes, I'm showing my age) we had BB guns, sling shots, air rifles, played with army men and GI Joes and toy machine guns and not once have I ever shot anybody. Not that I didn't want to at times. Remember when the phrase "don't have a cow man" offended some people?
  15. The bidders have bid activity with the seller at 22% & 99%. Seems like a scam.
  16. Nova and the whole Annihilation storyline was what sold me on Richard's being a bad . Until then I liked the character but after 2008 I LOVED the character. (thumbs u
  17. I suppose it's because I haven't noticed the attention the title has been getting until last week when they suddenly popped up on the website. Usually that means some sort of TV show or movie rumor but I haven't heard anything. Glad to know your kids like them! We need more young people in the hobby and I think comic stories now are the best they've ever been. Just so much else is competing for their allowance.
  18. Brian K Vaughan = Monies Just because? There is suddenly two or three copies on Lyria and all of them have a fair deal of watchers. Makes me suspicious.
  19. Runaways #1 @ $13 & 38 watchers. Seriously, what happened? Did I miss a TV show announcement? First #6, than #14 and now Captain America #1 @ $20 & 4 bids is in the act.
