I've done many trades on the boards. I've never bothered engaging any strict protocol. If I didn't trust the person I was trading with then I wouldn't have bothered to agree to the trade in the first place. We agree on the trade and just ship the books to each other simultaneously or at least within a reasonable time. If money is going one way then just include a check in the shipment or, if payment is electronic, send it right around when the book is shipped.

In my limited experience, MCS covered the cost, though the last time they sent my books out for recasing was a couple of years ago.

I've been watching Regie's videos lately or, more specifically, listening to them while I work. I like his talking points and delivery. His topics are pretty much exactly what your every day collector wants to discuss, without all the flash.

I'm at about 9 weeks from the date of the Steve Lavigne signing and my book has been stuck in G/QC for about two weeks. Customer Service told me the signing was November 17 and I would have my books back by mid-January.

I agree with this 100%. This hobby has done more for me than just the accumulating of comics. I have an entire social system that stems from it.

I've spent more on GA in the past two years than I had in all prior years combined, and I consider myself a bargain hunter for the most part. Prices rose. My spending rose with it. I expect to spend plenty in 2022.
