  1. Pursued Exciting Crime Fiction #5. Great red background cover. Tough to find. VG. I'll include a copy of CSN 116 which previews Cole's cover for 3D Exotic Beauties. $125 shipped.
  2. Takes: First takeit in the thread wins and immediately trumps all ongoing PM negotiations. I reserve the right to overrule takes in the event that a PM deal is concluded and I hadn't yet had a chance to mark an item sold. Any variation of "takeit" counts. Please do not edit takeits and please do not commit to buy unless you intend to follow through. Payment: Zelle, Check or MO preferred. Paypal or Venmo okay. Who can buy: No Hall of Shamers or Probies, or anyone on my personal list. Shipping: Free in the US. International at cost. Returns: Three days' return shipping from receipt. Buyer is responsible for shipping cost back unless item was damaged in transit.
  3. I asked the below in the Ask CGC forum Wednesday morning and my post is still sitting there unapproved. CGC customer service seems to not have the answer. @CGC Mike can you look into this? Is the Dan Parent private signing still scheduled? There's been no mention of it anywhere, and the original announcement has dropped off the private signing list on the CGC website.
  4. My guess is it's the people named in the lawsuit.
  5. Looks secure to me. You can clearly see Todd blocking the hallway from intruders.
  6. I've made (admittedly joking) comments about this in the past but I've always been baffled at the low wages CGC pays it employee to grade and process our books.
  7. Certainly adds a new wrinkle to the reholder scandal.
  8. Generally speaking, people want 9.8s and probably will prefer the grade over the better art. I've always been more focused on the art and wished there were more options to generate graded sketch covers other than workarounds like this.
  9. That Artgerm has to be up there as one of the highest prices ever paid for a sketch cover by a still active artist.
  10. Weird. I waken up this morning with the exact same thought.
  11. Sweet! Yet another Comics General thread celebrating the death of the hobby. 🥳
  12. I was a bidder though didn't go aggressive. I'm happy you got it.
