  1. Don't want to sleep on this: http://www.sdcomicfest.org/special-guests/
  2. Oh, I knew the book was yours. I was just being silly with my prior post. I went and looked at your registry set just to see what the book looked like and to check out your sketched MM 15. Pretty sick stuff all around.
  3. So you got a complete run for a Benjy and that means there was a wild ebay-fueled clamoring for Miracleman 14 years ago? Was this ebay.uk?
  4. Through the power of Google I found that MM 20 9.8 with the McKean sketch. It's pretty sweet. Owner of said book, please deposit it into the nearest mailbox, addressed to: ryanatlas, 696969 Awesome Drive, Bostonarea, MA 99999. Thank you.
  5. Where is this being made available?
  6. I sent my MM 15 to Rich too but it was merely a 9.2. Why would I do such a thing? Because that book has been in my collection since 1998, bought at an LCS for $5, well before the MM interest picked up any steam. I can't wait for my sketch. 14 years in the making, don'cha know.
  7. Getting a full run of Sig Series would be fantastic but definitely challenging. There are a couple Garry Leach-signed MM 1s out there. Totleben has a few from his run and he's becoming more available so a collector could bust out a bunch from him, if so inclined. There's the Buckinghams that Comics to Astonish has. As for Moore, that might be an impossibility. Your best bet would be buying the MM 1 Gold CGC 9.8 available right now in a boardie's sales thread for the low, low price of $3500
  8. Say that again. I couldn't hear you. I *think* you said you wanted to sell yours to me for way less than they just sold for on ebay?
  9. Is this it? I totally remember this. It may have been listed in Wizard's price guide way back when but I have nothing to substantiate that save my booze-soaked memory.
  10. I'm not sure it will affect the market one way or the other in that sense that there are only ten of them so the lucky owners can pretty much dictate their terms. It would take much more than $450 for me to part with mine if I had one, regardless of grade and regardless of recent sales. It's a grail for TMNT collectors so the market, I think, will be individualized to the seller and buyer at the time of each unique sale.
  11. I would have been all over that had I seen it. You've got to be vigilant!
  12. I am very jealous of that #24. The sketch is great and it's the key book from the Gaiman/Buckingham run. Plus, being a 9.8 doesn't hurt. Either way, I'm so pumped these few became available. In my dream world there will be an opportunity to add Gaiman and McKean sigs at some point to mine. I'd say it would be awesome to add a BWS to the 24 but his sigs are awfully elusive.
  13. Airboy 10 signed and sketched by John Totleben for sale or trade: http://boards.collectors-society.com/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=5829879#Post5829879
  14. I did. It's a character that lends itself so perfectly to different styles and interpretations. Plus, he's been My Guy since I was knee high to a Scarecrow. Right now I'm trying to focus on Bat villains but they come up so rarely it seems like.
  15. These are gross. You should donate them to the Ryan Atlas Fund for Making Ryan Atlas' SS Collection Better. It's a worthy cause. Seriously, though, your Bats collection makes me so jealous I want to puke with rage and sadness.
  16. Got this guy to trade. Sweet Totleben piece. I've lately been looking for Batman villains, TMNT, Jonah Hex and Swamp Thing.

  18. 2 copies of Swamp Thing 21, one signed by Totleben, one signed by Yeates. http://boards.collectors-society.com/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=5697763&Board=79
