  1. When I called last week the rep I spoke to said the second signing was done as of that past weekend. This would place the completion of the second round books roughly 2 weeks out from today. Has anyone else received that information?
  2. Since this appears to be for an interview I recommend narrowing your questions to be as specific as possible. Asking an interviewee broad questions is going to generate broad answers. As far as researching for this project, unfortunately you are going to have to put in the time and really dig in to what exactly you want to know and search based on that specific criteria. These boards contain many, many (perhaps too many) ongoing threads related to comic values and related interest so you can start by reading through those threads.
  3. Lady Death: Reckoning limited hardcover signed by Pulido, Hughes and Jansen. Dust jacket is worn but the book itself is nice. $60 $50 SOLD .

Please do not edit takeits and please do not commit to buy unless you intend to follow through.
  5. Because of the volume of submissions they split the Eastman signing into two separate signings. I sent in five different invoices and only one was completed in the first signing.
  6. Wolverine sketch by Ryan Stegman. CGC 9.8 SS. Ends Thursday April 15. Wolverine The Best There Is (2010) 1F.SKETCH CGC 9.8 SS (mycomicshop.com)
  7. Reckless Virgin. Spicy LB Cole cover. Rare! Ends Monday April 12. Croydon Original Novel (1945-1954 Croydon Publishing) Digest 13 VG 4.0 (mycomicshop.com)
  8. Adventures into Darkness 10. Classic cover. Ends Monday 4/12: Adventures into Darkness (1952) 10 GD- 1.8 (mycomicshop.com)
  9. I had 5 invoices for the signing. Three are "received," one is SFG, and one shipped out to me yesterday. The invoice that finalized yesterday was the last one I sent in so they obviously aren't using the FIFO method for processing. I've also started seeing books from this signing show up on ebay so they are starting to trickle out.
  10. Most collectors prefer their books ungraded. It's usually when a book starts accelerating in high value when the census numbers start growing in proportion.
  11. All 9 comics pictured below for $35 shipped in the US. Average grade NM-. Please read the rules before dropping a take.

  14. 3250 copies of TMNT 1 first print were published. 6000 copies of TMNT 1 second print were published. The CGC census does not change the numbers stated above; it merely reflects how many copies have been submitted by collectors.
  15. There's a few 2.0s on the census. I could see a bunch of people aggressively bidding something like that up since it would be the cheapest way to get a copy.
  16. It's not a perfect mechanism to gauge value but if the 8.5 sold for $22,200 then that creates a price-per-point guide of around $2600 per point. Give the 8.5 a slight bump upwards since the higher the grade the more likely it is for escalators to kick in. So, let's say $2500 per point based on recent sales. That makes a 5.0 worth $12,500. That feels realistic to me.
  17. I saw that one. Was considering going after it but rusty staples are hard to get past.
