  1. I think this thread is about a bunch of adult white guys worried that their culture is being ruined because they can't celebrate racism via Dr. Suess books.
  2. Based on a half dozen or so ebay sales over the last few years, looks like they sell between $30-$60 depending on condition.
  3. Well yeah who wouldn't want to see what a Golden Age buyer looks like. We're stunning.
  4. Agree. This isn't exactly a rare book. For that kind of money, better to be patient and wait for the "right" copy. @Math Teachermaintained discipline when looking for a copy of AF 15 and that worked out for him.
  5. Any overpay today will look like an underpay tomorrow.
  6. I only wish I'd been smart enough to not sell my Cerebus 1s. And Albedo 2. And TMNT 1 second prints. And TMNT 1 third prints...
  7. Surprised to not see more conversation around here considering how high the preorders were. I don't think there's much spec potential here except for some of the high ratio variants but the story was surprisingly strong. The premise is kind of weak (unstoppable killer, mysterious past, government secrets ops, etc.) but the narrative worked really well on top of the action-focused art. It was definitely a quick read but the first issue ends with an intriguing setup for future issues. I'm in for the whole twelve issues.
  8. Every time I visited Shellback back in the day I would always stop at that piece and admire it. Great acquisition.
  9. I didn't see an ASM 300 but he does have some really nice books. @Top City Comics, just pick ten of your best books and auction them. That will solve a lot of your problems. This is silly.
  10. I've sold many books, usually higher value books ironically, where the buyer prefers to pay via check. It's yet to be an issue.
  11. He's admitted to having a cash flow problem so...
  12. If and when that check does show up the next step will be to see if it clears.
  13. The lesson in all of these TaT threads: the worse the grammar the more exciting the thread.
