  1. That could all be speculative, for sure. I too haven't read anything definitive on the subject but I've been too scared to try putting them in a safe.
  2. My understanding is that air tight is a non ideal environment for comics.
  3. The accepted standard has generally been "limited series" with the abbreviation of "LS".
  4. @shortboxed Gene and crew, 3 of the last 4 books I've purchased through the app have become unavailable AFTER I've placed the order and paid, my payment being subsequently held for several days until I check in on a status. I am dealing with one of these scenarios as I type this, with my last order placed on 4/23 still in "processing". Since the books are held by individual sellers there's no way to realistically monitor that all listings are in inventory or force a seller to follow through with a sale if that seller changes their mind. The only solution I can think of is to not process payment until the automated shipping shows the book actually being in the mail. As it stands I have to assume that any books I show an interest in aren't actually available and I will only confirm as such by paying and seeing if the book ships.
  5. Comic Tropes is great. They're like mini documentaries and often very funny. Chris is also friends with a lot of creators, like Robert Kirkman and Jim Mahfood, so has plenty of industry insight.
  6. I've owned many copies of third prints, mostly before the price explosion a few years ago. After the prices shot up I avoided them but prices seem to have leveled off recently, and I had a bunch of mycomicshop credit burning a hole in my virtual wallet, so I figured I'd grab a copy now to have in the collection. These third prints are nice alternatives to the more expensive earlier printings.
  7. I used to have a copy of this but don't seem to have it anymore. This should be rectified.
  8. Takes: First takeit in the thread wins and immediately trumps all ongoing PM negotiations. I reserve the right to overrule takes in the event that a PM deal is concluded and I hadn't yet had a chance to mark an item sold. Any variation of "takeit" counts. Please do not edit takeits and please do not commit to buy unless you intend to follow through. Payment: Zelle, Check or MO preferred. Paypal or Venmo okay if it's a must. Who can buy: No Hall of Shamers or Probies, or anyone on my personal list. Shipping: Included in the US. No international due to weight. Returns: Three days' return shipping from receipt. Buyer is responsible for shipping cost back unless item was damaged in transit.
  9. I hope so because I have a copy ready to sell to whoever wants it.
  10. Worldtree (however it's spelled) was pretty good but likely has a high print run. I am also enjoying Blue Book. That's all I have to add.
  11. I'm not sure this is really open to interpretation. The magazine size books are submitted under the magazine tier. The comic size books are submitted under the comics tiers.
  12. My average time between received at MCS and being available for listing on the site is probably closer to 4 weeks. I've had stuff processed in a week but that's uncommon.
  13. I think we've lost the narrative if we're saying Jim Lee draws precise anatomy.
  14. I used to have the whole run, up to about volume 24 or so, but ended up giving up on it and selling them years ago.
