  1. @MattM CS it's been another 3 weeks and still no progress on this signing. Is there a line of sight to when this will be completed?
  2. Takes: First takeit in the thread wins and immediately trumps all ongoing PM negotiations. I reserve the right to overrule takes in the event that a PM deal is concluded and I hadn't yet had a chance to mark an item sold. Any variation of "takeit" counts. Please do not edit takeits and please do not commit to buy unless you intend to follow through. Payment: Zelle, Check or MO preferred. Paypal or Venmo okay if it's a must. Who can buy: No Hall of Shamers or Probies, or anyone on my personal list. Shipping: Free within the US. International shipping will need to be determined prior to sale. Returns: Three days' return shipping from receipt. Buyer is responsible for shipping cost back unless item was damaged in transit.
  3. I like it a lot too and do have a copy. It's surprisingly high quality for a book insert.
  4. Definitely not. People think they are bidding on an original second print.
  5. Will it be a shirtless pic?
  6. It's an ashcan sized reprint of TMNT 1 second print that was included with the hardcover book The Ultimate Visual History of the TMNT.
  7. They are doing something similar in Northampton, MA.
  8. I also bought a piece of Miracleman art directly from John in the late 90s, that I subsequently sold on ebay about 7 years ago, and have deeply regretted since.
  9. I had a low grade Fantastic Four 49 that I couldn't move until yesterday after deeeeeeeply discounting.
  10. In other news, weekly auction results have been hilariously brutal lately. Could be the time of the year. Nice time to be a buyer though.
  11. I've made some intensely stupid trades in years past, trading major keys for kewl sketches and other dopey carp like that. I've also sold countless books before their price spikes. I wonder if I've learned any lessons 🤔. Probably not.
  12. I've had a bunch of slabs in set up for close to two weeks now, which is abnormal.
  13. They have been very responsive to my emails so I am giving them a shot. Send off three books to them today for C2E2.
  14. Carl Barks work is the top choice here. Will Eisner's work on The Spirit had great art and very readable stories.
  15. Alright I think that properly satisfies the 10 for 12 criteria.
