  2. Sold via private message transmission made through the CGC Boards private messaging system.
  3. What kind of pirates are we talking about?
  4. Definitely a shower, not a grower.
  5. They have regional buyers that can go and check out the collection then make an offer.
  6. This was a regular Econ submission?
  7. You finished in the wrong spot in the raffle then.
  8. Battlefield 9 to finish that run. Reacquire a Ghostly Weird 122 after regretting selling my copy. Get a couple specific Bakers still on my list. Keep jumping on underpriced books as I find them.
  9. I was flipping through a December 1996 issue of Combo Magazine, which was a Wizard competitor at the time, and found this in their price guide for that month.
  10. Definitely possible. Baker also drew the majority of these covers while he was in his 30s and, for his own reasons, unmarried, so it may have felt more authentic to him to draw people closer to his own age.
  11. I don't always hear from the person for whom I was the Secret Santa. That's alright. As long as what I sent arrived safely then I'm not too worried about it.
  12. Planet Comics 1. Classic Dave Stevens cover. Fine. Could use a clean and press. Small stain right side of cover. $70 shipped. SOLD
  13. I planned to make a run at greggy's junk for a second year running but the Elves decided to stick me with number 13. At that pick I still ended up with my de facto #1, which was the TMNT box, so it all worked out.
  14. Finally read the story this morning. The, uhh, art looked nice.
