  1. Takes: First takeit in the thread wins and immediately trumps all ongoing PM negotiations. I reserve the right to overrule takes in the event that a PM deal is concluded and I hadn't yet had a chance to mark an item sold. Any variation of "takeit" counts. Please do not edit takeits and please do not commit to buy unless you intend to follow through. Payment: Zelle, Check or MO preferred, Paypal accepted if it's a must. Who can buy: No Hall of Shamers or Probies, or anyone on my personal list. Shipping: Free within the US. International shipping will be at cost and must be determined prior to sale. Returns: Three days' return shipping from receipt. Buyer is responsible for shipping cost back unless item was damaged in transit.
  2. There's a third tier, which probably represents the vast majority of the people on these boards.
  3. My thoughts are that I would be perfectly content with a 1.5 CGC instead of a 1.8 Voldy. Value wise they are probably the same.
  4. My understanding is that some people cover the cert numbers so someone else doesn't try to add them to their registry sets. Why a seller on ebay covers them, who knows. ebay sellers do weird things.
  5. Holy ----!!!! Good reminder to take scans of all books prior to sending to CGC.
  6. @CGC Mike Any opinion on this seller's proposal that CGC has signaled an intention to institute policies that are directly contrary to prevailing data privacy regulations?

  8. I don't use the census as any realistically accurate way of determining if a book is scarce or not. There are lots and lots of books with a census count of zero because no one gives a fugg about them. However the census CAN be useful to verify when a book is definitely NOT scarce.
  9. Only 3 on the census, with the 6.5 as the highest graded. I too had difficulty snagging my copy and $1200 for the 6.5 looks like a deal to me.
  10. Price reductions: Eastman sketch now $250 Lavigne sketch now $125 Take both for $325
  11. Wait, I glossed right over this. What's the book?
  12. Anecdotally, prices in the auction seemed a little soft last night, which was fine with me as I was strictly a buyer. We'll see if that remains as the holidays get closer.
