I'm not sure. That's Mark Wilson's kid and he runs those auctions completely fee free but he's also selling his own books in the auctions so shilling would be easy. I was considering sending a book in as a try out for the next auction but the seller portal is horrible.

This lends credence to the theory that Modern TATs are so fast because they are automatically given 9.6s without anyone actually looking at the book.

I have used that feature, and it does speed things up on the front end, but not so much on the back end processing.

The $1.95 version is from the first series, the $1.50 version from the second series. They just reused the cover.

@mycomicshop Conan, I believe there was an announcement, here or in the newsletter, stating that MCS was implementing new intake procedures to make consignment processing significantly faster, particularly for slabs which were to be fully processed within a couple days of receipt. Have these new procedures been yet put in place?
