  1. Relatively common and no way would one need to pay that kind of mula. Thanks, Gator
  2. Those GGA issues of Wings 89 - 95 were my main focus for a good chunk of last year. I got a VG #89 on eBay for $50. For slabbed 6.0 - 7.0 copies of the others I paid between $250 and $350. I certainly wouldn't pay $100 for a fair or $400 for a PGX restored... hell, I wouldn't buy a PGX book full stop. Thanks for the info
  3. I love Archies "eye" line on this cover :0 staring right at the fuzzy boobs very subtle but I think its intentional That's a GREAT observation that I never noticed (probably because I am always looking at her fuzzy boobs when I look at that cover).
  4. Hey Gator, just a quick one regarding Wings Comics #89. Is there much demand for this issue? I see a couple of copies available on ebay... A Restored PGX 8.0 ( ) for like $400 and a fair copy for about $100. Are these prices anywhere near realistic for this issue? Thanks.
  5. I converted my garage into my Man Cave. Put up a false wall to block to door (so it looks like a garage from the outside) and a false floor - it works rather well (thumbs u Nice. Have you posted any pics up yet?
  6. Let us know the grades when you get those next year... (thumbs u Re the films, I like the fact that the films are starting to interlink and be continuous, much like the comics.
  7. Here's a couple of new quotes from Singer about the film: "Something that happens in this movie (DOFP) causes what’s going to happen in that movie." The film will "also address historical mutant-cy, meaning the deep past, mutant origins and things like that. It’s something that’s always intrigued me when we think about our Gods and our history and miracles and powers." Source
  8. Someone who just bought a 9.9 for $1400 is banking on it. I hope that person lights their cigars with $20 bills. It didn't go for $1,400, the best offer was accepted at $1,100. How do you find out what the best offer was these days? I used to use one of the foreign sites but they stopped showing it. Click on the item > Click "view original listing" > Click Print The actual sale price will show up. Thank you, good sir.

  10. I think the difference here is that Boba Fett's first appearance was actually in The Empire Strikes Back (the film). So if the average person wants his first comic appearance, unless they're a hardcore completionist, they'll probably gravitate towards Star Wars #42 - your mainstream-style comic book. Marvel Preview #4, 7, etc are the actual first appearances of those characters anywhere.
  11. I'll be surprised if it isn't Lang. Pym will be there, but he won't be Ant-Man. He'll be the guy who developed the tech. That's my hunch, anyway.
  12. I'm optimistic about Batman Family #6. Joker's Daughter is getting her own one-shot in Feb and I wouldn't be surprised if JD is here to stay in the New 52 universe. Will it go on to become a Batman Adventures #12? Maybe not. Can't go wrong at $2 either way.
  13. Wtf! Like Weapon X? Fox are going to find a way to jam Wolverine into this, aren't they?
  14. Strong price. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Uncanny-X-Men-221-Cgc-9-8-1St-Mr-Sinister-White-Pages-/331072188296?pt=US_Comic_Books&hash=item4d1570af88&nma=true&si=DDiLbAtGyyPYkYKYc1dr76vB9bU%253D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2557
