I'm sorry, but the new journal format is absolutely horrible. I've really enjoyed keeping one over the last few years, but I don't think I'll be participating.

I have to agree, and I /LOVE/ comics. But at the end of your life, all you have, really, is the sum total of your experiences and memory. What you own, at some point, becomes irrelevant. My comics are cool, but at the end of my life, I will likely remember fishing trips with my grandpa, riding through the mountains on horseback with my wife, drinking beer while wading around in the Gulf of Mexico, white water rafting through the rivers of Colorado, performing music all over the country, holding my child for the first time, etc.

They all say they can't believe I spent that much on a comic book... until I tell them later how much I sold it for. Then the questions and attitude change.

Well, it's your list, not mine. I know you are going by public sales, but I am quite aware of the market value of the book since I've (privately) sold one lately for...well...more than any of the other books currently listed, with the exception of #1. That stinks! I was wondering. I was thinking of contacting the seller myself. eBay is getting ridiculous. Tired of non-paying shills. What, exactly, is the thrill?

Thanks! Moved a few issues since the registry award deadline lapsed. It was all or nothing this year. Mulling what to do with the collection currently. I've really gotten into Atomic Age sci-fi lately.
