  1. A nice copy that I feel has been a tad under-graded by the CGC. Recently graded with a beautiful new case. Please email me with any questions. $850 VIA PAYPAL SHIPPED TO CONUS $750 VIA PAYPAL SHIPPED TO CONUS
  2. TERMS OF SALE: I will not conduct business with members on the probation list, members listed in the hall of shame, or members on my ignore list. First in the sales thread wins. Private sales can be arranged and negotiations are entertained via PM, but the most secure and incontestable way to win is to post the directly in the public thread. PAYMENT: Please pay within 72 hours of receiving your invoice. I reserve the right to cancel the deal if this condition is not strictly met. I accept PayPal Goods and Services as a preferred method of payment. Please contact me via PM prior to bidding for information regarding payments with personal checks, cashier checks, or US POSTAL money orders. SHIPPING AND HANDLING: I will only ship to the United States or Canada. Canadians should expect to pay any and all fees related to the shipment of the item. Slabs for customers in the United States will usually ship the next business day via USPS Priority Mail at a cost of $14 for up to three slabs. Certain high-value items may require a signature from you at no extra cost. If the package arrives damaged, please take photographs or video of the unpacking process. Damaged items will be refunded under my personal insurance policy, but I must be able to prove that the item was damaged during shipment. RETURN POLICY: Unless stated otherwise for a specific item, I accept returns for any reason, as long as the following conditions are strictly met: 1. You must use PM to notify me of your intention to return the item and I must receive this notice within 72 hours of your reception of the package as indicated by tracking. 2. I must receive the returned item in the exact condition in which it was sent. Refunds will only be issued after I receive the item in question. 3. You must mail the item back to me postmarked as "shipped" no later than 7 calendar days after your reception of the package as indicated by tracking. 4. You must cover the cost of shipping the item back to me. If any of these generous conditions are not met, I reserve the right to refuse the return. ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ I've done many deals with various board members over the years. My kudos can be found by going HERE. I look forward to doing business with you!
  3. RECAP OF WHAT IS LEFT: Alien Worlds 1 - CGC 9.6 - $26 New Mutants 88 CGC 9.8 - $75 (totally shocked this is still here, given that it's nearly 25% off 90 day GPA and...it's a Cable book. I might take this down soon.) Curse of Spawn 1 (black and white variant) - CGC 9.8 - $60 (again, shocked it's here and I may take it down soon. Last public sale was $200 freakin' bucks people!) UXM 201 - $100 Again, some of these are going to eBay soon, so jump at these prices while you can.
  4. The whole world makes beautiful music, despite what the scenesters have to say.
  5. OMFG! WOW! I'm actually finalizing my spot for a commission as we speak, and wanted to check in to look back at some of his work. Cannot wait!
  6. ...and by the way, I'd much rather be accused of packing too securely than not packing securely enough. I try to pack things the way I'd like to receive them.
  7. Mr. Fantastic. That would make me a huge hit in the porn industry.
  8. I was never mistreated by the "old guard" back when I came on. I've had nothing but great experiences here.
  9. Also, the Golden-Bronze forum has incredible (mind-blowing) stuff for sale on a weekly basis. You're lucky if you can even find a key in the Copper-Modern forum.
  10. You won't hear any arguments from me. I love comics from all eras. I just happen to mainly sell moderns. Based on my experience, the sales forum just isn't as active as it used to be. I've also noticed a lot of old-timers who never really come around much anymore. I was one of the loudest voices against the updated boards when they first dropped. Even though I've adjusted, I can definitely understand why the change ran people off.
  11. Go for it. I miss the "old" days. It's certainly been more difficult to move moderns in the sales forums.
  12. I guess I'll say that while I honor and respect your opinion on these matters, I simply can't see where you're coming from. It appears as though I have a great time on MCS and you have a great time over at Mile High. The best thing for us to do is to continue to support the companies we like. On that note, I'm out of the conversation.
  13. I have no pity for someone who half wallows into an expensive hobby with absolutely no desire to research the market first. If you don't have time to learn, why on earth would you have the time to buy? Furthermore, why would you expect to survive the experience unscathed? No. I would have researched first. With me, there is no "later found out." Do people really buy services and products without shopping around first? Maybe they do. I'm glad I'm not among them. The first clause in your sentence says it all. As for the next part of your sentence, the field is as level as it gets in a free-market. You don't have to buy anything. If you overpay, it's your own fault. Go somewhere else.
  14. Not exactly. Mile High purposefully inflates prices and plays around with "deal" code words released in their emails. No awkward codes or shopping time frames required by MCS. I've also personally shopped at the Mile High Denver location. I've posted about my experiences previously. If water dripping from the ceiling and caught by plastic buckets doesn't turn you off from shopping there, perhaps the clueless employees (EC? What are you talking about?) will. But the prices for Mile High can change from hour to hour. And I've seen them overprice modern raws by up to $40. So if that's your bag, go for it. The issue your raised with MCS has nothing to do with the prices they assign. You are complaining about the price of consignment items, which they have absolutely nothing to do with. Kind of an apples and oranges thing here.
  15. Yes. Absolutely correct. I just don't see it that way. Doesn't seem any more laborious to browse when compared to sites ran by the competition. Heaven forbid that the consumer takes the time to research a product and determine a fair price before making a purchase. As a consumer, I never expect a corporation or business to babysit me. If someone tries to sell a base model Honda Civic for $40,000 and someone actually bites, I really don't have much sympathy for the buyer, assuming they aren't mentally impaired or handicapped in someway. I'm all for taking responsibility for my own purchases. I don't expect MCS to act as my nanny.
