  1. Well...you said it perfectly before I had the chance.
  2. I'd be hard pressed to find a line in Hollywood as beautiful... FWIW he improvised that line on the spot...put his own spin on the -script...and it was better.
  3. They were black. And there were many.
  4. ..at least that's what my perception was..which is all that really matters, no?
  5. They were large enough for me to clearly see the mandibles working my flesh.
  6. I was visiting a friend in West Palm and let's just say that I wasn't in a sober state of mind... went outside for a cigarette and leaned up against a palm tree. I started to feel a burning sensation in my legs. I looked down and was covered in giant ants of some sort. They were lighting me up! Gods... I lived in Georgia for a while and we had massive fire ant mounds. But these Florida creatures brought a different sort of pain. I run back in the house screaming and tearing my clothes off on the way (in front of my friend's GF!) to the shower. Yeah...ummm...just thought I'd share.
  7. Nope. He should have made her dig her own hole. THAT is how you get it done.
  8. I recently did an Express with no problem. TAT was as advertised.
  9. They are using the same tech to make fake porn starring anyone with a dozen or so random, readily available (online) head-shots. Scary. I read a news article about it the other day.
  10. If I were on the edge, thinking of this song would push me over. Just sayin...
  11. Here is an excerpt from my post: The serious collector should store his or her collection in a room where the temperature and humidity are under strict control. Experts recommend temps no higher than 70 degrees (F) and a humidity between 30-60%, with the low-end of the range being preferable. - SOURCE - Northeast Document Conservation Center
  12. Sure man! Enjoy! CLICK HERE I wish the mods would "sticky" the thread, but no dice.
  13. I have done extensive research on storage conditions. All of my findings and sources (including government, museum, and conservatories) were reported years ago here on the boards. I am well aware of the differences between the mediums. I just found it interesting that the Mona Lisa is stored in conditions mirroring those of an ideal environment for comic books.
  14. We've had a lot of discussions about the ideal environment for storing comics. I was reading the news this morning and found out this little tidbit about the Mona Lisa, which is currently being relocated due to room renovation. Cliffnotes: 1. The canvas was a thin panel of poplar wood. 2. "The Mona Lisa" is kept at a constant temperature of 68 degrees Fahrenheit and a hydrometry of 50%.
  15. Unfortunately, I had to do the same thing for a friend on another forum. Times are rough.
  16. Entropy and the second law of thermodynamics guarantees that your Hulk 181 will turn to dust one day, regardless of your storage method. More than likely, this will be many years after you have turned to dust. A less-matter-of-fact answer is...the slab will only slow the degradation. Exposure to sunlight and wild swings in humidity and temperature affect page colors the most.
  17. The pictures could be recovered if he sought out some simple knowledge. Rarely is anything truly "deleted" from a hard drive. But, whatever. Let's just be done with it already.
