  1. UK , but I've spoken with the seller and he'll ship to the US.
  2. You mean issue 48? There is a splash 44 for sale.........sorry want to make sure you knew. I'll remember next time Phil.....Issue 48 Well there goes me as the high bidder...
  3. To be honest, $10-15 for a book with a 50K print run is insane to me, too.
  4. I mean, I'm not a variant chaser-- especially an error variant chaser, but I've sold both, and have gotten about a 5% premium for the black label. There's no doubt it's the "true" first printing, and that others in some cases are willing to pay a little more for it. If I could turn back time, I would have kept my 9.8 black label for good. Which actually reminds me, I've owned six copies, not five! No offense, thats COMPLETE speculation and a 5% bump is completely useless in terms of determining which is more sought after. Way to many factors (time of auction (if it was even an auction?), month, day, year, viewers, scans, avenue sold, what else was avail at the time, etc) to consider a 5% bump material. I'm just going off what I know, man. And like i said, whenever one was for sale, the first question is always "is it a black label?!"
  5. I think we'll have an episode explaining his return, where he's been, etc. Then probably another episode dedicated to the diffusing the Carol situation. We've got a few weeks until the action kicks in, right?
  6. I'm glad we don't talk about the book in this thread. I didn't even realize #7 came out this week!
  7. Sorry-- didn't see that ANOTHER one just ended less than a week ago. Four on sale within a week of each other!? http://www.ebay.com/itm/The-Walking-Dead-1-CGC-not-9-6-9-8-but-9-9-MINT-/251357811409?pt=US_Comic_Books&hash=item3a8617d2d1
  8. One of the best episodes of the series. I'll say it. Wow.
  9. I bought mine raw for $115 with shipping when everyone was still deciding if the book would be good or not. Just crazy...
  10. Raw c2e2 variant just ended at 270. Whoa...
  11. Anytime. I thought it was most telling when I was trying to sell my 1-50 set here on the boards, and most PM's weren't about haggling, but whether No. 1 was a black or white label. At least on here, it mattered.
  12. I'm in the camp where if you are going to get an SS book, you've gotta have both key creators' sigs.
  13. Another SS just ended at $475... Ahhh!
  14. I mean, I'm not a variant chaser-- especially an error variant chaser, but I've sold both, and have gotten about a 5% premium for the black label. 15. I've owned five copies total. Two were black, the others were white. Whites are absolutely easier to get. Regarding amount of books recracked and slabbed, it's not AF 15. I'm sure there are a few, but not enough cases of this to shift the research.
  16. So.. there are three 9.9's currently, or about to be on the market right now, eh? Wonder if anyone will bid on this? http://www.ebay.com/itm/The-Walking-Dead-1-CGC-Graded-9-9-/261324157276?pt=US_Comic_Books&hash=item3cd822315c http://www.ebay.com/itm/Walking-Dead-1-CGC-9-9-WHITE-MINT-Highest-Graded-Copy-50x-Rarer-than-9-8-L-K-/291000250437?pt=US_Comic_Books&hash=item43c0f77045 http://www.comiclink.com/auctions/item.asp?back=%2Fauctions%2Fsearch%2Easp%3Fwhere%3Dsell%26title%3Dwalking%2520dead%26ItemType%3DCB%23Item_989973&id=989973
  17. Here's the original: $,4000 http://www.nealadamsstore.com/Walking-Dead-11-x-17_p_953.html A few $700 sketches graded. Actually, not bad looking: http://www.nealadamsstore.com/Zombies-drawn-on-a-Blank-Walking-Dead-109-CGC-98_p_978.html http://www.nealadamsstore.com/Zombie-drawn-on-a-Blank-Walking-Dead-109-CGC-98-_p_977.html This is the only one I have a problem with. "High detail" on a 2.5 x 3.5 notecard? Looks like all the other ones I've seen for, but I digress. $400... http://www.nealadamsstore.com/Sketchcard-Green-Lantern-High-Detail_p_942.html
  18. He's got some great stuff listed on his actual website. The prices are just insane, but people are apparently paying it.
  19. I know things are cooling a bit, but do we honestly think a franchise with a show who pulls more viewers (13.3 million) than Sunday Night Football, will long term see a drop with a book where only 7,500 exist? Just an FYI, I sold my #1's before the start of this season for $2,250. I have one more No. 1 black label yet (9.4... ). I've now gone on to switching heavy into prime OA for the book. I'd rather have something unique/ on-of-a-kind. http://www.deadline.com/2013/11/walking-dead-nfl-sunday-night-football-tv-ratings/
