  1. It's a great page. Really is, nice splash, but I have no idea. I'd peg it at $3,750+ due to its significance, awesome zombies? I guess?
  2. Little piece of history on eBay... http://www.ebay.com/itm/Walking-Dead-19-Original-Art-Pg-1-1st-app-of-Michonne-Adlard-signed-HOT-/190927071788?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item2c7423ea2c
  3. Awesome! Big Image fan, or are you into some other publisher's work, too? WELCOME!
  4. Congrats! Are you the guy that snagged this raw?: http://www.ebay.com/itm/161117235182?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649 that's a lot of money for a vg Ha-- no. I did buy one in the g+ range that wasn't a bajillion dollars. Plus, if i'm paying more than $1,000 for a book, it's going to be slabbed to avoid the headache.
  5. Finally picked up a copy and am REALLY hoping this guy isn't restored.
  6. Alright. I want to be on a cover. SOMEONE PLEASE MAKE IT HAPPEN
  7. You have certain people that just do not dig signatures on books. I'm one of them. Sketches, sure! Sigs? Eh.
  8. I'm not a fan of these variants, but that Nashville piece is bad . WOW.
  9. Given the scarcity, my copies just collecting dust in the for sale thread...
  10. Anyone ever see this? https://www.imagecomics.com/comics/releases/the-walking-dead-43
  11. I don't know, guys. I just sold a 9.8 for nearly $2,300. I sold a 9.8 last year right after season 3 ended and got 1,600 for it. I also sold a 9.6 double signed during the same time and got $1,200 for it. Aside from a few deals here and there, the book has steadily increased every year for the past 8-9 years. Big rule of thumb should really be don't sell books you're not okay with letting go on the cheap in the summer time. I'm actually more concerned about the Saga C2E2 variant. I can't believe it's fallen as much as it did, considering popularity, and the scarcity of the book.
  12. That was an $800 book triple signed shortly after SDCC in 2012. Heck, it was going for almost $700 in blue. Wow.
  13. The lull sort of killed the book's momentum, but it'll be fine.
  14. Hate haggling??? There's guys who no longer sell WD OA after being brow beaten by you Jim I bought 3 Saturday tickets assuming they'd sell out I believe they are all unspoken for. Seems I should wait to haggle in person. if we switch food and such to friday night we can make it easier for a bunch of people to hang..then we can haggle all evening over the two passes off topic a bit but does anyone else play magic? i can bring a few decks I have a soft spot for you but Magic really??? You really ain't that Nerdy. Jim I got back into MTG after a 15 year hiatus - its surprisingly fun again - give it a try you might like it OK so TWD Escape...me and retro from the forums..anyone else? buying tickets in a little bit.. And as for Fri night -- Bragnet, Retro, ComicsNYC22, and Phil..anyone feel like starting a group PM? Let's do it!
  15. I dont think this will be the case with the EoW RRP... the Saga RRP was able to be obtained in quantity(one by one) from people attending the event who were not comic shops but got the variant in their pack. The EoW RRP was sent out well after in the mail. The accessibility of this book I think is severely understated. This wasn't like the Saga C2E2 variant, where it was pretty easy to come across. They were mailed out to retailers, and unless you scooped them up whenever they hit ebay early on, you're going to pay a nice price for it. Not to mention the aforementioned smudging issues.
  16. I got this one from shortly after the book came out. Not bad for a quicker sketch:
