  1. whether you liked last night's episode or not, I love the fact that I have absolutely no idea what's happening or where this show is going.
  2. Makes you realized how solid Charlie is with watercolors. He really took his time on this, and the detail's great.
  3. These are the results I'm used to... Early pages, but pretty pedestrian in terms of action and shots of Rick. One of the pages had a nasty bend in it, and that's the one I wanted, but wasn't paying a premium on a damaged piece of art.
  4. FREE NEGAN!!!!! Get Negan a dead skin mask. ROBERT IF YOU'RE OUT THERE, MAKE THIS HAPPEN AND I WILL TAKE BACK EVERYTHING I EVER SAID.FELT ABOUT ISSUES 70-91
  5. There are so many areas Robert could go deeply into. I'm pumped on this. This feels like another two year arc. I'm still fascinated that they kept Negan around, too. Fear all over the place. I'm LOVING it.
  6. This Hunter storyline is going to play out for a while. I hope they keep Gareth around, because he's a sick mofo. How are we not talking about Beth, Carol and Darryl?!?!
  7. Yeah... No way I'm touching that NYCC variant. I wish i would have bought a few of them just to sell them considering the prices. Wow.
  8. With all the new 9.9's, this is very surprising. http://www.ebay.com/itm/The-Walking-Dead-1-CGC-not-9-6-9-8-but-9-9-MINT-/251668458605?ssPageName=ADME:B:WNA:US:3160
  9. Has anyone ever discussed what's going to happen when the show catches up/passes the comic, and what that means for the monthly title?
  10. I remember when that and his paitning were originally for sale!
  11. Stunning, Phil. Drooling at my keyboard. Scary, chaotic scene.
  12. Just going by the artist' track record. Long monthly runs are not his forte. But hey who knows... Snyder's definitely in it for the long haul. He's down to three books at the moment, which for him isn't much considering DC will probably be riding him like crazy for more Batman stuff. Jock's art just works so well with this, but I agree that he's never been a longterm project guy. If there were ever a book where he would, I'd imagine it'd be this one.
  13. It's sort of hard not to trust the team around this book. Bedlam was literally bedlam. As Branget said, Saga was a very slow rise. That book took forever, and even had a few lulls given the planned time between issues. I stocked up on #1's when they were going for $50 and it's been one of my smartest spec moves in years. That said, I passed up on a stack of 50 of them at Midtown Comics when they were fresh. That was the same day there were 20+ Peter Panzerfausts #1's right next to them. Hindsight!
  14. Is this from an actual human being? He's trolling, right? The Walking Dead beats Sunday Night football heads up (and beats them even more decisively in the 18-49 y/o male demo, which is where the real money is) in a matchup featuring TWO TOP FIVE MARKETS (the Giants & Eagles), in a game RIDDLED with playoff implications for both teams, and you actually think it's a fluke?
  15. I don't think anyone will be dying any time soon. Just seems like too easy of an out to just assume mid season and season finales are just times where characters die/new villains, etc.
