  1. I just received my very first Marvel Magazines (if we exclude the Captain Britain related ones from Marvel UK) and some Creepy with the Adam Link stories which I would like to complete. I haven’t scanned them yet, but will do so… Thanks to Bounty Coder for some of them…
  2. I think where people are getting confused is in your name choice. Linguini is a type of pasta and pasta is most associated with Italy so members are making the leap in logic that you are Italian. Hmm… no, the pasta variety is called "linguine", not "linguini". Also, I have never heard the surname "Linguini", although it seems it exists.
  3. I finally received from my friend my purchases from Aaron, and the magazines are wonderful, and as described. Will definitely purchase again from him!
  4. Keep them, it’s worth it!
  5. Right, the early Moon Knight stories were awesome. I still remember the two-part story narrated both from the Hulk's and Moon Knight's perspective.
  6. Man, the Kubert art on Hawkman is awesome! And the covers… Not sure I would say it’s crude… it’s still in development, one of the qualities I cherish more in comics' artwork, and in artwork in general. I have one (or two) of his earliest stories in "The Challenger" but this Hawkman is simply wonderful…
  7. I’d love to show you some from Italy but I really have no time for scanning…
  8. Beauties, happy for you TF… (thumbs u I still miss the #4 – had eyed a copy but I can’t spend now.
  9. As far as I know, all the Hulk magazines (both Rampaging and later on) contain original material only – not reprints, and very good too. (thumbs u
  10. Sometimes I put an eBay item on watching just to remind buying a copy, maybe that’s the case with these five guys… (thumbs u anyway…
  11. In short I should receive my first Hulk magazines in original edition… (never seen them before, as I only had the italians).
  12. That #10… so beautiful. Funny as #8 was the first I picked, I always loved the story.
  13. This thread should not be about "nice market bumps…
  14. Thanks! I couldn’t talk myself into buying an high-grade copy, so for now it will do. I’m dubious about the #50, but I think I’ll stick with this one, as the other presents greatly but has the aforementioned defects (not just the back cover tear). Side by side: New FN copy / old VG/VG+ copy (even if it looks better).
  15. And an entry level copy for #27, which I was missing…
  16. This is a sort of "upgrade/downgrade": it’s better than my previous copy here but presents a less nicely. I favored this because paper quality is better. The other one is nice but has bottom paper tanning and a large tear on the back cover.
  17. BTW, I forgot to post my #5… I would have preferred to have it without a signature on the cover, but the price was good…
  18. I am envious of your Golden Age geekfests as no one collects GA here… with SA/BA Marvels I can always show my comics to italian collectors collecting the italian editions, but the american GA comic book is still a vast, unknown continent for most, here.
  19. Auctions would definitely be better in a separate thread, but in general I think they make more sense for uncommon or sought after books.
  20. #5… You’re on a roll, slow down or you will complete the run in no time, consider you have already the #1.
  21. Well, for a FVFN to VF- it was a pretty good price…
  22. The usual stigma around the "Purple label" I guess… My #3 has minor color touch and I love it (already showed)…
