  1. It’s a great book! I treasure the few Fawcetts I have. Thanks guys for the patience, I just try to put myself in his shoes…
  2. I don’t have the impression that is "very clear", the whole thread was quite a mess in this sense. So, as much I can see the frustration, I would just expect comprehension — the point is that if he’s anguished, overwhelmed by the situation or panicking (and I can understand that) it would have been important to define clearly the degree to which he was expecting donations or hoping to get help through the sales, but you can also accept that he did not. Even if you made a purchase, I think it’s not a good thing to provide him further stress. You knew you were making a purchase in a critical situation, mostly to help. Donations are not a problem, of course. BTW, october just received my book and while I can’t speak for others, on my part I have no regret in trying to help as much as possible given my limited availability right now. And we all know you have a big heart.
  3. Hi nochips, just in case: I can have US shipping but would you accept PayPal payment? From Italy it would be intricate to use a check…
  4. Bill Black's Fun Comics #2 (1982) Fanzine from Bill Black, centered on the Golden Age, with a new Stuntman comic written and drawn by Black and features on GA heroes. The back cover features a Rog2000 illustration by John Byrne. Staples have some rust, which caused rust migration at the bottom staple, see pictures (but insides are pretty clean). $10
  5. Buy both Calvin & Hobbes related magazines (Comics Journal and Wittyworld) and get for free a copy of my own fanzine from 1989 featuring a piece on Calvin & Hobbes.
  6. Wittyworld #8 (1989) VF Speech held by with Bill Watterson at the "October Festival of Cartoon Art" in 1989, it includes a nice Calvin & Hobbes poster. Among the other articles, a feature on the origins of Batman. $25 SOLD
  7. Take your time, just tell me when claimed books need to be removed if I missed some.
  8. I copied the $150 price from page 1, but I see s8zaphod priced it $250 on a subsequent page, so his call… Have mercy! – it’s been quite a tough task to source/copy/edit all of the information across the thread… —–
  9. Now it should be correctly updated. If you want, I’ll keep updating it upon your indications, to save you the fatigue. Otherwise you can easily copy-paste the whole block of text if you want to add it to the first post (but at this point, you’ll have to edit it yourself).
  10. I haven’t been able to find some prices (Matrix preview?) so if you tell me, I will add them.

  12. I will make a recap of all you listed so far, and if I skip something already sold, I will edit it. Then, when you feel better, I will add/adjust prices on what it’s still available.
  13. This has been done correctly so far. But I second the list, as I previously suggested. I understand it might be difficult right now for s8zaphod but it would help a lot those not prone to donate but maybe interested in some of the books.
  14. No worries! Just take care of yourself and keep the spirits up!
