  1. I would have donated more, under different circumstances but hopefully someone will add some donation or book ASAP. Help s8zaphod out, please! God bless, Claudio

  3. Everything up to date, book already packed. Thanks again to Andy for making it happen.
  4. I pasted his PayPal email, see with him. Will send you a PM as soon as szapod confirms. Thanks much brother for your generosity!
  5. Lowered the price of my donation to $165.
  6. @grebal: No worries, it‘s just that I checked, I recalled I missed one of the two, and it was #34! It’s not that I care particularly about these two issues, but I believe it’s the only "hole" I have in the Subby run (besides #1) and I would love to find a copy for cheap.
  7. Yes, I always saw the "best offer accepted" ended listings as crossed out. I guess OdinsSecrets is right. I also see now what Sharon was talking about. Well, at any rate, here it was just a $30 difference. I agree with grebal's "rule of thumb".
  8. That was the first thing I thought: but that copy does not have "best offer" in the listing, and even Watchcount lists it as sold at full price. I wonder what happened there…
  9. Fun thing is "Dottor Fato" would translate back as "Doctor Fate", while the official translation later on obviously became "Dottor Destino" ("Doctor Doom/Destiny").
  10. First italian edition of Fantastic Four #5. Magazine sized, from 1967. (I absolutely love this, as the adaptation was done with *wonderful* care, not to be seen when they started publishing the comics on a regular basis).
  11. And since we can no longer fit Zemo within the available space… let’s cut off the Black Knight as well! (This is the second italian edition, magazine sized antologic reprints. I believe the first italian edition, published on Thor, preserved the characters, but I’d have to check).
  12. Even uber-trendies in the grunge movement recognized the old-schoolness of rockets — what are you talkin' about?
  13. I would have made a donation, but since right now I have no stable income, I waited. But if you have problems in getting to the needed amount, I will either donate something or offer a decent book to raise a donation. Prayers are assured, will remember you at the Year-end thanksgiving mass, tomorrow.
  14. Is the pain a bit better? Praying for you!
  15. Dang! This would have been great for *my* collection. But Ireally can’t spend…
  16. I agree, as "Copper" boundaries can be stretched. I personally have various 1980 books that I would consider going towards Copper. 1979 is unquestionably still Bronze, Copper starts around 1983 but the 1980s gradually marked a move away from all that represented Bronze, IMO.
