    I saw the thread a few days ago and prayed for Jim, I did not have the time to post and although I'm still without a proper income myself I can't at least participate in a small way. I recently bought a few Archie books here in Italy which I was planning to sell in an upcoming thread, so since I've them scanned I'll try this. I see Patriot has already purchased but maybe they are of interest? Since I have very little idea on Archie books prices (and I haven't quite figured out) please tell me if I am far from the right spot… They are ungraded yet, more or less in the 3.5-4.5 range I guess. Take one or both, but unfortunately I can cover the shipping for a single shipment as it's become pretty costly. I will cover Priority up to $20. If you want Registered (tracked) I'd ask to cover for the difference. I also have a few other Archie issues between 71 and 75, and I can switch them if there is interest.     As a Defenders reader from the David Kraft run (rest in peace!) I loved how he used the character, especially his interaction with Hulk and the other team members, Valkyrie and Dr. Strange.

    Hi Lou — I'm confused as far as the series, since you put the thread in "Copper/Modern": many books seem to be Bronze (and thus "volume 1" of specific titles) but since there are no pictures it's unclear.

    Osamu Tezuka - Metropolis (First US Edition) (メトロポリス, Metoroporisu) Dark Horse, 2003 «The inspiration for the central character coming from a publicity still of the female robot from Metropolis (even though he had never seen the film or even known what it was about). [?] The setting was based on pre-war Manhattan and Chicago, Emmy and her sister partly from Les Misérables, Michi's powers from Superman (although Tezuka never made the connection between the title of his work and Superman's city), Michi's burning from The Invisible Ray, and Michi's death scene from The Monstrous Fellows of the Country Underground (another Tezuka manga from 1948).     Fantastic Four #5 - Italian edition in "Provolinus" (special supplement to the magazine "Linus") Milano Libri, 1967 Italian edition of Fantastic Four #5 (first appearance of Doctor Doom). This is the very first Italian edition, published in black and white a great adaptation (both graphically and in terms of translation) and with amazing printing quality within the Linus supplement "Provolinus" in 1967 (see pictures). Very nice midgrade copy of this beautiful early Italian key, downgraded for some chipping on spine. Overall presents a lot better than the stated technical grade. This is a super-cool book, if you are into collecting foreign editions — get it while it's still affordable. VGFN - $125 $110
