    #104 is now SOLD, and thread is CLOSED.

    To the user which asked me further pictures of the #85: apologies, I will try to make them before Easter.
    God bless.

    Feebay please....for the love of God....give it a rest with the fees!

    They're making it impossible to sell anything 🤬

    If you sell somewhat pricey slabs, what they're effectively doing is inviting people to just delist and consign to the auction houses at first sign of life in the market. This goes double if you're a casual seller without the need of a storefront subscription. At least throw people a bone every once in a while with a final value fee promo or something.

    And you can’t imagine how impossible they made it for non-US sellers to sell on eBay.com
    If I wish to price a comic fairly I have to take into account:
    1) Currency conversion rates (their own, really bad);
    2) Shipping cost, which is already high, has to take into account that they’ll calculate fees upon it and the taxes as well
    3) US Local taxes (depending on state)
    4) On top of it all: the fees, which on our own local eBay sites (eBay.it, eBay.fr, eBay.de etc.) amount to a 4-6% at worst, can end up being 15-18%
    So in the end you have a buyer paying about a 30% more than he would have if he purchased directly from you.

    I would imagine the movie speculator market keeps books at a high when the properties they are using have longevity. I recall Thanos stuff was hot for quite some time because he was central in the movies for years. From a speculation view, Marvel having a difficult time portraying these characters in ways that will ensure long-time interest is hammering long-term value - along with the economic factors going on.

    To me, it just seems like this is the bear market for comics where you either hold (because you like the book) or you sell at a loss (because you need the money). The time to buy for collectors is rapidly approaching, bad time to invest or flip because the bounce-back may not happen on books where the character has come-and-gone without much fanfare.

    Honestly, if Marvel toss out such a §h#t thing as the "Sub-Mariner" portrayed in the film it’s no surprise speculation goes "down the water closed".

    Origin of Thor. Classic cover. I see raw and graded copies have been selling for pretty strong prices.
    Nice copy. VG to FN, no big issues but as I have noticed now it has (very slight) color touches on the upper part of the spine, around the staple and at the top, so it falls into "Restored". I’ll leave it "ON HOLD" and research a bit to price it accordingly.
    *ON HOLD*
