  1. Someone has to be first I suppose. US Archie sales were massive as I recall but I doubt that had any bearing on it. They're still comparatively scarce whether UKPVs or stamped in comparison to Marvel etc. And a six month UKPV window doesn't scream success does it. In that time frame, DC and Dell were at the top of the US sales heap, with Archie next. Marvel/Atlas lagged far behind.

  3. Gun safes are made to store metal objects (guns). I have had 5 figure books in a gun safe for literally decades. That said, having some sort of dehumidifier and monitoring the humidity level are certainly prudent.
  4. Why are gun safes bad? I've used one for many years. Safe deposit box is the best answer for very valuable books (whatever your definition is--mine is >$10k).

  7. I was very happy with the results of auctioning my teen books through Heritage. They sold for about 30% more than I anticipated.
