  1. Sold a nice Pep 30 at a Chicago ComiCon in the mid '80s. Bought it back on eBay about 10 years later.
  2. Just in a vault at Wells Fargo. No, the boxes are not airtight. Not sure why one would want them to be.
  3. I've stored 5 figure GA books in a bank safe deposit box for 15-20 years without any issues.
  4. Been a while... Somehow, Conan has become the center of my BA Marvel SS collection. Frank Brunner, Barry Smith, Roy Thomas, Neal Adams and Steve Gan
  5. Thanks, Sharon. Really not necessary, though.

  7. I've been working since 4 am this morning, and thought I should finally open my gifts from @JazzMan Really great stuff including 3 classic books, an Archie Pop, an original splash and Hot Chocolate (which considering that it was -4 this morning is pretty useful right now). Thanks Claudio!
  8. Genuine pieces from a very brittle Action #1. With CoA
  9. No, Russia wasn't doing much seafaring in the 17th Century. They weren't doing much quality coin minting either. The basic coinage was wire kopeks--pieces of wire, pounded flat and struck with a die. For large coins (thalers), they countermarked other countries' coins with the image of the tsar and the date 1655.
