  1. Holy cow! I just sold a raw 9.2 for $41. You're sitting on a damn gold mine. Peace, Chip
  2. Thanks for that, Jeff. I just bought 100, which should cover everything. I've got 3 purchases worth of Joe figures now...probably 150+ to sell with some vehicles and small accessories. It could be a nice payday, so I'm working on cleaning them all up and sorting everything now. Peace, Chip
  3. Thanks for the link. I've used YoJoe.com before...what an amazing site and wonderful resource THAT is. Please send me the link for the "O" rings. I knew that a way to fix them existed but I've never looked into it. I appreciate the help. Peace, Chip
  4. Went around to a few antique shops today just to get out of the house with the family for a while. Found a few () G.I Joe ARAH figures at one place and they gave me a nice amount off the price. Now for the fun task of matching up the accessories to the figures. Peace, Chip
  5. Nice comment. Keep hiding behind your second account username, coward. Peace, Chip
  6. I haven't, but I know what happened. It doesn't make it any more idiotic. Peace, Chip
  7. I think this show should be renamed to "People do majorly idiotic things." M0r0ns. Peace, Chip
  8. You should also check him out in "Bronson." One of the oddest movies you'll ever see, but he's damn good in it anyway. Peace, Chip
  9. Not that I can compare to Dan's big score, but I just bought a bunch of signed artist hardcovers (Steranko, Adams, Vess, etc) and vintage Disney paper paraphenalia. Included was this...and I can find zero information about it. It's an original 1937 Snow White World Premiere invitation. The inside pages are just a sampling...this is probably 20-pages long, with similar local business ads wishing Walt well on his movie and short articles about different aspects of the film. I have a gut feeling it could be something "special" as far as value, but other than e-mailing Heritage I don't know where else to find out. Peace, Chip
  10. I don't get the people that said they couldn't understand him. Were you watching the same movie as I was? I understood him just fine. Peace, Chip
  11. Freakin' amazing. What a HUGE score, Dan! Congrats! Peace, Chip
  12. No, he wouldn't. He'd be playing Johnny Depp in a Doctor Strange outfit. +2 on the Farrell and Reeves. Blah. Peace, Chip
  13. WOW. Congrats on the mega-find!!! Great books there! Love those Silver Age FFs! Peace, Chip
  14. ...that's what I figured. Thanks. Peace, Chip
  15. What issues of ARAH (or 80's Joe in general) are desirable? I'm thinking of going back out to the 33-cent guy one last time as he had a lot of them. Last trip I snagged a #46, 50, 53, 100, four copies of #150 and #152. In previous trips I got 3 copies of #63, another #46, two copies of #2 that turned out to be 2nd prints (blah) and something else that wasn't #21. He didn't have that issue (or #1) AFAIK. Thanks in advance for any help. Peace, Chip
  16. He's a *really* nice guy. Very friendly and laid-back. Good luck! Peace, Chip
  17. Pickup up a longbox-and-a-half today for $125 total. Some nice gems today. He also had some books marked down to 5/$1 so I picked up about 20 copies each of Catwoman #1 (1993 Balent), Batman #500 deluxe, Superman #82 chromium and Cable LS #1. Peace, Chip
  18. Plus it's not like it's the *books* that are skyrocketing...it's the *labels*. Specifically, the 9.8 labels. That's all. Peace, Chip
  19. Okay, I must have missed something, but... Peace, Chip
  20. Most most excellent episode! Man when that guy had his hands on Judith I wanted to kill him. Teared up a bit when Daryl ran up to Carol. Nice nice scene. Peace, Chip
  21. WOW! That's an awesome treasure trove of stuff! Original art, too? Damn! Congrats! Peace, Chip
  22. Tim bought some DCs from me last week and was a pleasure to deal with! Thanks Tim! Peace, Chip
  23. As far as the fans of the FF are concerned it might as well be called the F-U Movie. Peace, Chip
