  1. I am swimming in action figures. Nearly 250 DC Direct loose action figures were brought home today...from the very first one onward. Nothing recent, but tons of early and rare sold-out stuff. Looks like my time until Christmas Day is pretty much taken up. . I don't even know where to begin. Peace, Chip
  2. Welp, looks like I have to see if I have one of those somewhere. Peace, Chip
  3. It doesn't matter what you do, in my experience. It's all luck. I've sold the same condition non-key book in consecutive weeks with a $25+ difference multiple times this year. Sometimes the lower grade does much better than the higher grade that was listed a few weeks prior. Same with lower value books...take She-Hulk #60. I've sold 6 of them in the past few months. $10.50 $15.95 $1.99 $10.01 $4.51 $6.51 That's all over the place for a low-dollar book. Nothing changed on how I list. Same big scans, same description, same low shipping charge. Sometimes the 9.2 would sell more than the 9.4, and so on. It's all luck. It's also not just comics. Action figures, video games, etc. It's happened a LOT this year, so I don't get upset at it anymore. I just sigh and move on to the next batch of auctions. Peace, Chip
  4. This was 10 days ago... http://www.ebay.com/itm/Legends-3-1987-NM-9-2-White-Pages-1st-Appearance-New-Suicide-Squad-/221618484546?pt=US_Comic_Books&hash=item33997db542&nma=true&si=dxg3y8xEUp75UQzOiwfW405Pt04%253D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2557 Peace, Chip
  5. I was really happy with this one... http://www.ebay.com/itm/Legends-3-1987-NM-9-6-White-Pages-1st-Appearance-New-Suicide-Squad-/361140609563?pt=US_Comic_Books&hash=item5415a8621b&nma=true&si=dxg3y8xEUp75UQzOiwfW405Pt04%253D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2557 Peace, Chip
  6. Hornhead (sold for $100) and the Rollercycle (have had a couple offers around $40 so far). Peace, Chip
  7. I hear ya there! That's how it's been with that huge collection I acquired two weeks ago. Just weird weird stuff and I'm still going through it and finding odd things...some are expensive! I found a rare Madballs figure & vehicle in one box that I got really good money for, and I had no idea anything from that line was expensive! Peace, Chip
  8. Whoa! Big money! Any rarities? Sounds like a fantastic score! All from one place? Peace, Chip
  9. I would think so, with yours being the first. This is the first one I recall seeing, though the more I look at it the more I vaguely remembering having one of each at some point. I'm old and my memory is fading. Proof set could be a sample of some sort. if it doesn't have regular numbering I'd certainly treat it as such. Peace, Chip
  10. I got an opened Carnage Keepsake one in that big collection I acquired a few weeks ago and snapped a picture of it so you'd know what comes in them. Peace, Chip
  11. So they picked the least attractive woman to play Jessica. I shant be tuning in... Peace, Chip
  12. ...at least there's enough characters from Legends #3 to keep that book going. Peace, Chip
  13. I think Lost sucked balls, which is why I think this show sucks balls. Again, if we didn't know it was a Marvel show and they didn't name-drop one time each episode it could be called something else and no one would have a clue. This is not a show about anything Marvel. It's generic. Hell, along the same lines that show "The Cape" could have been called "Moon Knight" if they'd just have name-dropped Daredevil or Spider-Man every other episode. Peace, Chip
  14. I'm just glad I'm out of Super Powers if you're starting to get into it. Peace, Chip
  15. Oprah is their first choice. That'd be really weird if it pans out. Peace, Chip
  16. Holy cow. Wow. Damn...that's just impressive. You're killing me with this stuff. Peace, Chip
  17. Where did I say that? I didn't. It's a great show, but the stupid stuff happens when people on the show do incredibly stupid things. That's all. Peace, Chip
  18. Dumb people doing dumb things. Dumb dumb dumb. Peace, Chip
  19. Welp I've picked up another 35 or so boxes over the last few days from that big collection (my friend who's relocating), and I'll tell ya...there's so much esoteric in here I have no idea where to start. . Just tonight I've come across : - 1938 World Series program with an unmarked box score - Madballs Rollercycle with rare Horn Head figure - Retro 51 fountain pen in original wood box - autographed Derek Jeter official MLB ball - Diablo III for PC, still sealed - Thunderbird 8mm Reel Projector - issue of Look magazine from 1936 - NECA Mummy's Tomb Headknocker ...just to give you an idea of what I'm dealing with. Complete and total randomness! I hope to have some pics up soon. There's just a tremendous amount of stuff! Peace, Chip
