  1. I have a PO Box. Also, why should I have to tell THEM where the packages are stored? I would think they'd know it was registered by the "RE" prefacing the tracking number. They're i d i o t s no matter which way you slice it. Peace, Chip
  2. Hooray, my slabs that CGC received on June 12th were at the post office today and ready to be picked up! I'm psyched, so I drive the 20 minutes there, and... ...the post office can't find the box. Does the word "livid" mean anything to you? Peace, Chip
  3. Damn! Deal of the year! I was going to post about going to Mister 33-Cent's place again this morning, but that pretty much shuffles me off the stage. Peace, Chip
  4. AWESOME! Never heard of Peter the Little Pest before, that's a weird one! Peace, Chip
  5. I have nowhere else to share this other than my store's Facebook page, so I enjoy posting it here. At least a few of you reply. No one else in my life cares. :-) Well, I shouldn't say that...April cares when she's interested in a new pair of shoes, or a new sweater, or a new outfit for Everly, or whatever else she spends my money on. Peace, Chip
  6. Today was one last nice day out at the guy's place with the cheap comics. Most of these were 3/$1, with the ones that weren't that price still very very cheap. There are easily more than twice as many comics that I didn't photograph as ones I did, but these were more-or-less the highlights of today's trip. It was a fun time, and the fourth time I've been out there over the last 2 weeks. He said that the fresh stuff he put out today was the last of it. I might see what he has in a few months because there were lots of books that were overpriced based on their condition...mostly DC early Silver Age in lower grades. Peace, Chip
  7. Picked up a few books locally this afternoon...sadly, the Animal Comics #11 has some color touch on the back cover. The ABC books have the original unused paper mailer sleeves and are unread, yet not NM/MT. The Spyman books are Steranko's first published work. Peace, Chip
  8. X-Factor #24 Superman Adventures #5 Preacher #1 Sandman #4 Also, the Marvel Premieres, MTU #95, DCP #26, Ms. Marvel #1 and Avengers #196 are Bronze Age. Peace, Chip
  9. Regardless of what you think about him or his auctions, that would NOT be cool. Peace, Chip
  10. I can't stand that "spastic" kind of playing. Just play the damn music...don't convulse like you're choking on a bread roll. Cool tunes, tho. Peace, Chip
  11. I'd say Night Nurse #1-4 is pretty awesome for a CL find! Congrats! Peace, Chip
  12. Me too...he really is the quintessential Bronze artist. There are a lot of his HOS/HOM books in this collection...maybe 40-50 if you count anything he did for Witching Hour and such. Lots of his Superman/Actions and Jimmys. Also a bunch of his Superboys. I wish it all was higher grade, but it's mostly great stuff. Peace, Chip
  13. I received that collection I posted about the other day and there's a lot of good stuff in there. Some big animation books, a few hardcovers, and about 1,300 comics. Most of the Silver Age is DC and lower grade, but there's some nice early Bronze stuff that is mid-grade (DC) and higher grade (Marvel). Here's a photo with some of the highlights... Everything was shipped completely disorganized and mostly NOT in bags, let alone bagged & boarded. There were probably 100 Gold Key/Whitman, 100 Richie Rich and the rest split between DC and Marvel. There was a small incomplete ASM run from the early 70's to 108 (including the drug books but not 100), about 100 DC horror books, 50 coverless (including MSH #18) and about 300 drek books from the early 1990s (no Image, and in nice shape, but...still drek). I just bought about 300 Silver Age bags & boards to keep the nice stuff nice. It's always cool to sort through something like this...lots of fun! Peace, Chip
  14. X-Force #2, #11, #14-15 (vs. Cable), #23 (vs, Domino again), #56 (multiple Deadpools). I think they'll all get a bump, certainly over the 25-cents they were "valued" at before. Peace, Chip
  15. I've been trying to hoover up all the ones in this area, that's for sure. Peace, Chip
  16. ...you want to do that for most of the stuff I have up? Nearly all of it was 3/$1. Peace, Chip
  17. Very very sweet! Love those ASMs. I've actually got a 4-longbox collection coming in that someone I've bought from before called me about. It supposedly has lots and lots of late-silver & early-bronze goodness in it. It wasn't that local...about a 10-hour round-trip drive to get it, so I'm having it shipped in via Fedex. Satisfaction guaranteed by the seller or my money back (plus I'm protected by Paypal) so I figured I'd take a flier on it. Here's hoping! Peace, Chip
  18. I thought it was dull and boring. Blah. Peace, Chip
