  1. Looking like Wolverine #154 & 155 are sleepers as well. I'll have to pull my copies and get them online ASAP. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Wolverine-154-155-Sep-2000-Marvel-NM-9-4-Deadpool-Liefeld-art-/251652835906?pt=US_Comic_Books&hash=item3a97ad8a42 Ugh...I never thought I'd be scouring through my boxes for freaking X-FORCE and Deadpool crud. Peace, Chip
  2. What's the deal with this? http://www.ebay.com/itm/GAMBIT-Volume-1-1-Gorgeous-grade-9-4-very-limited-034-solid-gold-034-edition-/291188499864?pt=US_Comic_Books&hash=item43cc2fe598&nma=true&si=pTU09kTtc7lo9U92nRwyffnYtZQ%253D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2557 It went for $52. Peace, Chip
  3. I have like 14 left of Circle Chase #1, three more X-Force #2, two of the 1997 McGuinness #1s and a couple of the 2nd limited series. I'm also scouring my drek boxes for anything with Deadpool on it to throw in my store at ridiculous prices. I'm looking at an X-Force #11 right now (Deadpool cover) that I'm going to experiment with...it's a 9.4 and I'm putting it in the store at $9.99 tomorrow. I've also got a small bunch of Deadpool stuff going up at straight 99-cent start tomorrow, including a #98 raw, another Circle Chase #1, 2nd limited #1, 1997 #1 and X-Force #2. I'm excited for the result. Might as well strike while the iron is hot...since I'm buying a 1,200 book collection tomorrow with actual *quality* books in it I could sure use the cash this crapola will bring. Peace, Chip
  4. I was pleased with this result. Deadpool Circle Chase #1 Peace, Chip
  5. Scanned this today and noticed that the front cover art matches nicely with the subject matter of the back cover advertisement. Anyone else notice something like this with a different book? Peace, Chip
  6. Oh, and does anyone know what three unused CIA envelopes would be worth? Those were amongst the things for sale and I snagged them. They have the bicentennial stamp on them, so I'd imagine they're from 1976. Any help would be appreciated, thanks. Peace, Chip
  7. Some pics... Gladstone ended up at 3/4 of a short box. Mostly from the mid- to late-1980's. Got about 6-7 different Star Comics #1s and some of the He-Man issues as well. Bronze Thor & Defenders, tons of random stuff (including that Santa book that Jim Lee first worked on, the Daffy Quaddafi parody book, Revelers - Greg Horn's first work), plus more. It really was a LOT of fun to go through everything these past two days, and I still have yet to go to the guy's house to see the stuff he pulled to price. That should be exciting. Peace, Chip
  8. He had 75 copies of Youngblood #1 and over 100 copies of WildCATS #1. There were boxes and boxes of multiple Image issues...I felt bad because he'll never move all that. Over 50 copies of Batman #500 deluxe...I could only bring myself to buy 7 of them. Peace, Chip
  9. Thanks everyone. Went back today and bought about about 300 more books, including a low-grade FF #45, Avengers #54 & #59, two copies of HTD #13 and lots of other stuff. Found 10 copies of the Deadpool Circle Chase mini #1 as well as another copy of the 1997 series #1. Filled up one whole shortbox with Gold Key & Whitman & Gladstone stuff...lots of Scrooge. More mid-to-higher grade Marvel Bronze as well as some wacky stuff from the early 1990's (more Spawn #1s and #9s too). Scored quite a few of the rarer Acclaim Valiant books also (including Magnus #64). I made my sacrifice to the drek gods with purchases of a couple copies of Unity #0 and #1. Pics coming later...I'm exhausted after 6 hours straight of flipping through comic boxes. Peace, Chip
  10. Went to look at a bunch of comics today and had a nice score. Bought about 200 comics and found a lot of nice stuff, including New Mutants #98, Superman Adventures #5, three copies of the 1988 Action #1 reprint, some nice Bronze Age, multiple copies of smaller keys (1st Blink, 1st Maleketh, Booster Gold #1, Web of Spider-Man #118, Spawn #9) and there were boxes I didn't even get to go through. I probably should have bought all the Whitman and Gold Keys he had because they were cheap, but I suppose I can head back tomorrow. Peace, Chip
  11. Where are you getting that? Lots of $1-2 copies sold recently. Peace, Chip
  12. Yep, they're called "rich people." Peace, Chip
  13. The mullet was already in play for Susan. Peace, Chip
  14. Well, you definitely won't see Robin as they're already announced that Nightwing will be the leader. They also name-dropped Cyborg, Starfire and Raven. Peace, Chip
  15. Check out John Ratzenberger some time...he's #1 in this category. ESB, Superman, Superman II, all the Pixar movies...he's the king. Peace, Chip
  16. Jimmers, no worries around here anymore man. PM me your address. I want to send you the Spideys. Peace, Chip
  17. It's not a big deal, IMHO. I thought that "readers" was the accepted term for "lower grade" but I don't mind clarifying. Peace, Chip
