  1. Thanks Chris. I don't have that anymore, sadly. That was a short era of me selling my collection to appease the girl I was with...a truly bonehead move if I ever made one. I really regret it since I had a lot of rare pieces like the boxed Mattel Krusher, boxed Hulk Rage Cage and other things it would cost a small fortune to replace now. Peace, Chip
  2. My old trusty boxed/complete ROM : This whole issue is Ditko pencils with Byrne inks. Peace, Chip
  3. Thanks guys! ThreeSeas, which issue were you talking about? I've got a few of the dino ones...very awesome covers. I love dinosaurs so it's tough to not keep them. Peace, Chip
  4. If y'all will indulge me I snapped some pics this morning. It's one way I can keep track of what I buy and from where. I won't post pics of all the loose SW vehicles and parts and stuff...there's just too much and it's mostly junk to part out. The Star Wars and Wolverine comics take up a full long box and there's a full short box of Iron Man and another of Star Spangled War. It'll take me a while to organize and clean up all this, though I'm hoping it will only take a few days. Peace, Chip
  5. Picked up a large collection today. About 850 comics, about 100 loose vintage Star Wars figures, about 50 loose vintage GI Joe figures (no straight arms, most NM but incomplete), some boxed Star Wars vehicles (boxes are a bit beat) a TON of Star Wars loose parts/pieces (mostly beat up, but 3 Falcons, 4 Snowspeeders, Jabba, a couple 12" dolls). Nearly all loose Star Wars vehicles are beat up, but a few things are cleanable like the Twin Pod Cloud Car and Jabba. Most of the figures are in very nice shape but about half are complete. Four SW carrying cases, two custom made wall cases, a boxed talking alarm clock, about 15 loose GI Joe vehicles, about 10 different vintage Dungeons & Dragons books/modules and about 25 autographed modern comic books. Most of the comics are Silver & Bronze, with large (75+ issue) runs of Star-Spangled War Stories, Iron Man, Star Wars and Wolverine (1988). Quite a bit more Silver Age then you'd see in a normal Craigslist collection with even some Golden Age (pretty much beat up). About 20 SA X-Men, 25 Avengers, 15 TTA/Hulk, 25+ TOS/Cap, 20+ Flash, etc. Mostly low to mid grade with more beaters than VF, but still worth selling. It's nice to be on the way home from a score with my car bursting full of vintage collectibles. I enjoy this quite a bit. Peace, Chip
  6. No, it was the Myrtle Beach Flea Market just past the 17 Business entrance to Market Common. Peace, Chip
  7. What can I say? I've been waiting for my ship to come in. Peace, Chip If I was unsure about the book I would have checked my phone to research, or asked to open one up to check the printing. It doesn't hurt to take a step back and think about it for a minute. I know, but I barely had service in there. Plus, at $1 each I was going to buy them anyway. If they turned out to be 8th prints I still would put them in the eBay store for $3 each or whatever. It was very low risk. The guy had 40 copies of Punisher Magazine #2. Now THAT'S a risk. . Peace, Chip
  8. What can I say? I've been waiting for my ship to come in. Peace, Chip
  9. Was VERY excited to find 7 copies of Bone #1 today at the local indoor flea market. Was far less excited when I found out they were 7th prints. Peace, Chip
  10. *sigh* Sorry guys, it's not her. It's just some cosplayer. Stupid Facebook... Peace, Chip
  11. I agree, but shoulders-up isn't the issue. Here's hoping she's covered in armor to make up for the waif-ness. Peace, Chip
  12. This looks dumb as hell. I don't understand why they do like this instead of a regular superhero show like Arrow or Flash. Peace, Chip
  13. Are these shill accounts? "realgrime" "finegrime" "perfectgrime" "urbangrime" That's not a coincidence. Peace, Chip
  14. Contrary to my other Craigslist "transaction" this one tonight went off without a hitch. I saw the ad at 7pm and messaged the guy, we arranged to meet at 9pm at the gas station on my road. I hit the ATM, he brought the stuff...easy-peasy. A nice score even though not all the figures were complete. There was an extra Luke Jedi cape in the weapons bag, though. Gotta try and get that $1,250 back fast so we can buy that 2nd car we need. Peace, Chip
  15. Nice score! X-Men #120 is signed by Claremont, eh? Peace, Chip
  16. I called CGC this morning and they said Value Fast Track is running 6 weeks and Economy is running 3+ months. Peace, Chip
  17. I have a Gump card that looks like he should be making donuts and nowhere near a hockey rink. Peace, Chip
  18. They've already made the Spidey/Kraven movie...it's called "Predator 2." Peace, Chip
  19. I have some nice stuff ending in a few days...please have a look. http://www.ebay.com/sch/Golden-Age-193855-/66/m.html?_nkw=&_armrs=1&_ipg=&_from=&_sop=1&_dmd=2&_ssn=chips-comics Peace, Chip
  20. One of the best scenes ever during the whole run of that show. Bruce Timm is a genius with superheroes. Peace, Chip
  21. Thanks for the info. Not a very "fast" track, eh? Peace, Chip
