Whatever that new Titans cartoon is that's on now absolutely sucks. It's so very very horrible.

Please...no. We need serious dark, not campy dark. Plus I don't want Depp or Bonham-Carter anywhere NEAR this movie.

This is all starting to get pretty stupid. Can't they just make a simple movie without all this ?

If you think there are people the know comics around the suits at WB then you are sadly mistaken.

The one that played with Ant-Man tonight was the 1st or 2nd trailer they released.

We just got back. It was great! Action-packed in all the right spots, great character development, quite a few funny parts, and just over-all a cool summer flick. I wouldn't put it on a level with Iron Man I, Avengers or GOTG, but it's damn good. Go see it!

I appreciate you stating and recognizing that, Hec. The Fantastic Four got me into comics in the first place. They remain my favorite comic book characters, their villains are my favorites (Doom, Galactus), and I re-read both runs (Lee/Kirby and Byrne) along with a lot of my TPBs (like the Simonson run and the Perez Galactus/Sphinx run) every year. I just want to see that kind of cosmic grandeur and personality interaction on the screen with the same characters I grew up with. This movie isn't it. Now, it might be a great movie in its own right...and that would be the only way I'll see it (eventually). That depends on how it's received by people I trust and know. I won't pay money and support the film with the direction they've taken and the effort they've made, regardless. I'd watch it with a free Redbox rental or on Netflix.

*ahem* John. Freakin'. Byrne. I put Byrne's run just under Lee/Kirby's FF and Lee/Ditko/Romita's ASM run for all-time greatness. More than Miller's DD, Simonson's Thor, Mignola's Hellboy, McFarlane's ASM or whatever else you want to throw at me. Byrne FF is simply awesome.

With that close-up image it looks like they tried to do *something* with the cheekbone/lip thing that Apoc has going on in the comics...but again, they completely failed at it.

Absolutely and completely terrible. The SPFX look like something on television from 10 years ago. Doom...I really don't have any words that would get past the auto-censor. For those still supporting this film after viewing this latest trailer...seriously...you're not Fantastic Four fans. Not in the slightest. If you were, you'd say it looked like garbage. It's a smash in the face to everything Stan & Jack created.

If only she had big boobs she'd be perfect.

Leto still looks like Culkin. Can't get it out of my mind now.
