  1. I borrowed the mother-in-law's car to head over to the 33-cent guy's place yesterday. I hadn't been there in about 4 months but so many new "hot" books have popped up that I thought it'd be a good time to go there again to see what he had left. He's about halfway sold out, but I was able to pick up some nice deals. Web of Spider-Man #1-75 run for $20 Iron Man #304, Suicide Squad #23, Sleepwalker #1, Avengers #316 (and another 90+ books) for 33 cents each Aquaman #50, Shazam #2 4 6 7 10 11, Iron First 4 5 6 11, Star Wars 5 6 7 (and 70+ more of the same type) all for $1 each World's Finest #173, Showcase #60 for $3 each Ended up getting about 2 short-boxes full of books for $125. I think this will be the last trip as there really isn't much left save for longboxes full of mid-run Valiant, Image and the like with each issue having about 25-30 unread copies. Peace, Chip
  2. Can some of you guys who don't care about money and have hundreds of these #1s sitting around please sell me some stuff cheap? Thanks!
  3. . Actually, I'm trying to concentrate and go without here for awhile to see if that soothes some of the chapped butts it's created for no discernible logical reason.
  4. Dumb. I can't believe this show is still on the air. UGH!
  5. David bought a Secret Wars 3-pack from me and the transaction went about as flawlessly as possible. Thanks so much! Peace, Chip
  6. Great haul! What do you think the #271 grades out at? Peace, Chip
  7. What. The . FRENCH. TOAST??? Now THAT is some amazing luck to find that. WOW. Peace, Chip
  8. Joe bought some X-Men from me (including a #94) and he paid uber-quickly. Thanks for the biznezz, man! Peace, Chip
  9. Brian purchased a Marvel Preview #7 from my VCC Booth and paid Jay/Barry/Wally fast! Thanks very much, my friend! Peace, Chip
  10. I have that t-shirt. Target, about 3 years ago, I believe. Peace, Chip
  11. NICE! Love those SSWS covers/stories. So different to see Mm Marie contrasted against all the male-centric stuff back then. Peace, Chip
  12. It's an Ed sighting! Peace, Chip
  13. Thanks buddy...hope all is well with you. Feel free to chat me up on Facebook if you're ever around. Peace, Chip
  14. Thanks for the 'grats, guys! Shark, that's a really awesome pickup for $20! I love that HB Super Heroes book. Had a guy text me this morning on my Craigslist ad and said he had a small bunch of comics for sale. He wanted $20 for the books, and I agreed to pick them up because his cell pics showed these four were in there : I love little deals like this. It keeps me going. Peace, Chip
  15. The books were part of an estate sale...kept in unregulated storage. Some are surprisingly newsstand-fresh. The older books are low-grade, but the Bronze stuff is really nice for where it came from. I'm debating getting the GS #1 and FF #45 graded...I just hate to have them tied up for a long time. Peace, Chip
  16. I haven't posted in here in a while, so how about a whopper? To say I'm pleased with this purchase would be an understatement... Peace, Chip
  17. I believe 2nd Morbius. A good sell considering 2nd appearances have been passé lately. 3rd Morbius. Peace, Chip
  18. Sweet Frazetta cover! The "female" in the upper right is really a dude. Peace, Chip
  19. Yeah you can sign up for a 30 day free trial. I think its only 8 bucks a month for the streaming only option anyway, which is less than the price of a movie ticket, so... $7 tickets here with $5.50 matinees. Peace, Chip
  20. Can you elaborate on this? I don't see how that flows logically from how eBay is set up. Peace, Chip
  21. Good lord...very sad to hear this. My heart goes out to you, man. One right after the other... Take care and be strong. Peace, Chip
  22. After seeing the Jurassic World trailer and then laughing at the Mountain Dew spot I was pumped for the commercials as well...but then no Batman/Superman, 50 Shades of Who Cares and more depressing commercials about dads, girls, lost puppies, sexual assault and the like I was pretty subdued. Combine that with eating too much & barely seeing Katy's boobs bounce and it's a good thing the game was close or I would have fallen asleep. Peace, Chip
  23. I just wanted to see something, that's all. I'm too stuffed with food to be "tough" on anything right now except my toilet. Peace, Chip
