I found "The Last Stand" to be rather enjoyable. If you go in with high expectations you'll be disappointed, but if you go into it looking for action, and cheesy puns, you will enjoy it.

No slapping necessary. Though I feel like previews hit the week before release. The only time we don't see them is if some mess goes down in the first few pages. Maybe something happens early on in the book. (Pure speculation though)

You've waited this long, can you not wait 4 more days? The previews end up making this a 5 minute read. Definitely not worth spoiling the anticipation.

Got about 4.5 weeks before you see slabbed copies out in the wild. I'm sure Dre or Ryan will have a few extra. Event is still a few weeks away. You should see it within a week or so of the show.

I do think the top tier artists's covers will go for higher than normal. Some of the lesser known artists should end up in the $500 range hopefully.
