Hello, long-time-no-post. I sold off my 9.6s at the end of last year and I still have 11 9.8s on-hand (10 after this auction). In the first few days they became available, I remember refreshing my eBay search every few minutes throughout the day and picking up nearly a dozen between $40-$75 each. Ah, those were the days... How long does it take CGC to update the census? There are probably a good 50+ 9.8 copies of the RRP out there and it still only says 11...

When I check posts, I see one with a sunglass emoticon to the left. What does that mean?

So be it. Now...I was thinking about buying some more raw copies with the money from the 9.6 sales to see if any more can be churned into 9.8s. Maybe that means I can earn my Whoreder credentials.

Does keeping ten 9.8 copies not count as hoarding?

I will be selling a few copies. The ungraded and the 9.6s for sure and then a couple 9.8s.

The fourth printing came out last Thursday, 5/24, but was sold out before they even arrived.

...not to mention there have only been 4 NM copies listed in the past 6 weeks and all have sold between $200-$220. Had 18 RRP copies pre-screened, pressed, and going through fast-track now. 70k total for all 5 printings? It was at 70k through the 4th printing. Not sure how big the 5th printing is...

I see that Justice League #1 (2011) has eight printings, but don't know of any other monthly comic that has more than that.

Looks like Saga 1 is going to exceed the 70k mark. A fifth printing is underway now to be on the shelves June 13. Anyone know the record for the most printings of an Image comic book?

Nice pickup. Last three NM/M copies have auctioned for $200+.

Auctioned closed at $220. Part of it may be that supply has suddenly dried up as only one copy auctioned in the last two weeks. Seth

Sent my Saga RRP copies through joeypost on the way to getting slabbed. Ended up with 18 copies (all look NM/M to me except one VF copy). Here's praying for a pile of 9.8s... Will take a pic of the lot once they come back! Seth
